Deal or No Deal is returning to our screens with a new presenter at its helm, ITV has confirmed.
Airing on Channel 4 from 2005 to 2016 and hosted by Noel Edmonds, the gameshow saw contestants choose from a selection of 22 boxes, each of which contain different cash amounts ranging from 1p to £250,000.
They’re then offered cash by a mysterious figure called “The Banker” in exchange for what’s in their sealed box, with the offer fluctuating as the additional boxes are opened one by one.
It has now been announced that Deal or No Deal will return on a new channel of ITV, with Stephen Mulhern taking over from Edmonds as the host.
Commenting on the news, former Britain’s Got More Talent host Mulhern said that he was “beyond excited” by this opportunity.

If Stephen Mulhern didn't know not to mess with Amanda Holden before today, he certainly does now.
The Catchphrase presenter got soaked with water by Holden for the second time in as many months during his appearance on This Morning.
Holden decided to throw caution to the wind to mark her final day covering Holly Willoughby's maternity leave.
Back in May, Holden soaked Mulhern with four glasses of water after he showed a picture of what she might look like in 20 years' time.
Asked about rumours he won't be back on Britain's Got More Talent next year, Mulhern replied: "Of course I'm coming back, it's the tenth year next year."
That was the moment Holden decided to remind viewers why rumours started about his future, chucking a glass of water over him and saying: "It wasn't because of this, was it?"
"Did you know she was going to do that?...

Amanda Holden threw water over Stephen Mulhern on her last day presenting 'This Morning'. The 44-year-old host - who's been fronting the ITV show alongside Phillip Schofield in the absence of regular host Holly Willoughby - recreated the drama of their on-screen spat on 'Britain's Got Talent' in May, when Stephen said Amanda looked like 74-year-old socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein. Asked if he was returning to do more 'Britain's Got More Talent', Stephen replied: ''Of course I'm coming back, it's the tenth year next year.'' Then, as she threw the water in Stephen's direction, Amanda said: ''It wasn't because of this, was it?...

Stephen Mulhern will return to Britain's Got More Talent for a tenth series next year.
Speaking to The Sun, Mulhern confirmed that the deal is done - and revealed that it was thanks to his cheeky joke about Amanda Holden that saw him getting drenched with water.
Holden threw her drink over Mulhern after one of the live semi-finals this year when he compared her to 74-year-old socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein.
"I'm all signed up for year ten," Mulhern said. "It's all sorted. I had an hour-and-a-half meeting with Simon last week and you never get that - you get ten minutes if you're lucky!
"That joke I did with Amanda, that went down like a sack of s**t. But Simon does love a bit of controversy. If you see a clip of it when it actually went out, he was like a kid in the sweet shop."

The 'Britain's Got More Talent' presenter was stripped of his credentials by the magicians' organisation for showing the secrets of one trick on a kids TV show in a bid to encourage more young people to follow in his footsteps. Stephen Mulhern has revealed that he's currently in talks about hosting a new chat show similar in style to the The Late Late Show with James Corden.
The TV presenter, who returns to our TV screens with a new run of Catchphrase this Sunday (June 14), told Digital Spy that the UK has no such equivalent and he would love to create funny skits with celebrity guests.
Corden took over from Craig Ferguson and has been a huge success with audiences across the pond, partly due to his original comedy sketches with game A-listers.
"We're actually in talks about doing a new show - sort of similar to the James Corden show in the Us, because ITV2 don't have anything like that," Mulhern explained.
"Because Britain's Got More Talent does so well, and we have such a laugh in it, the idea is to try do something like that over here.

The TV presenter reveals the silliest Catchphrase answer from one upcoming flustered contestant, and how Ant McPartlin is so brilliant at the quiz that he often plays the board game on a night in.

Stephen Mulhern was as shocked as anyone to find out that the dog walking the tightrope in Jules O'Dwyer's final performance on Britain's Got Talent wasn't Matisse.

We've had our last semi-final on Britain's Got Talent now, so it's time for our last verdict from Collabro - who just happened to perform on the show last night! This time it's the turn of Michael Auger, who admitted that the band were "nervous" to return.
"It's really odd because we've done so much, we've been on a sell out tour, we had a number one album last year, we've done so many events, the Royal Variety, and it's funny because you sort of get to a point where performing's so much what you love to do that it becomes second nature," he said. "But last night I think everything that we've learnt went out the window and we just felt like we were back in the competition!"
Michael also revealed that he thought last night was the strongest semi-final: "The top five, I wanted them all to be through.

Stephen Mulhern has dismissed reports that he and Amanda Holden had to be separated by Simon Cowell earlier this week.
On Monday's (May 25) edition of Britain's Got More Talent, Holden soaked him with four glasses of water after he showed a picture of what she might look like in 20 years' time.
Holden stuck her fingers up at Mulhern and also smacked his behind in the process.

Britain's Got More Talent steps into scary territory this weekend when Simon Cowell begins to question whether David Walliams was a demonic child.
It all starts as a prank from host Stephen Mulhern, who had T-shirts printed with childhood photos of Cowell and Walliams emblazoned on them.
But Cowell is horrified when he sees what young David looked like, saying: "I really can't look at that. It's demonic... You know those movies about serial killers? And you see them as a child and you can see the evil in them. I'm not kidding, that's what it looks like."
Decide for yourself:
In case Walliams hasn't been humiliated enough, Mulhern asks him to phone a famous celebrity to help Bgmt's ratings and he offers to give Beyoncé a ring.
Unfortunately, it soon becomes clear that he's actually phoned his mum, who has a very interesting idea of a Beyoncé impression:

She added: "On This Morning I forgot them and Phillip Schofield found them, and we played a game of throwing them at the wall to see how far we could throw them, and how long they stuck to the brick wall.
"So they seem to feature a lot in my life."
She went on to say that her stylist tried to convince her not to wear the covers, saying: "She actually said to me, 'You've got great nipples, get them out'."
It was previously revealed that Holden will host ITV's new series Give a Pet a Home.

If there's one genre of TV that's ripe for poking, it has to be reality television.
Stephen Mulhern, Emma Willis and comedian Joel Dommett will be embracing this bonkers world in new ITV2 show Reality Bites.
The panel show sees host Stephen alongside team captains Emma and Joel dissecting reality TV - both from the UK and around the world.
With celebrities, TV stars and surprise guests, the teams will have to face rounds that see them watching clips from foreign reality shows and working out what's going on, and guessing the identity of a reality star using touch alone.
Before they recorded the show, Digital Spy went to ITV to meet Stephen and Emma to find out more...
Why did you want to be a part of Reality Bites?
Emma: I wanted to be involved because I only know about reality television! It's what we know, it's what we do.

Jasmin Walia loses it in the next instalment of The Only Way Is Marbs (June 25) as she throws her drink in Dan Osborne's shocked face following an argument in a Marbella nightclub.
Brits abroad, eh?
We all know drink-throwing in Towie is commonplace but accusing a female cast member of sleeping with every bloke in Marbella will pretty much guarantee it.
And while we don't always condone such reckless behaviour, here's 10 other classic TV soakings below:
1. Towie's Mario & Lucy
"Another one-night-stand in Marbella?" a smug Mario let's slip as Lucy walks past him in a bar as the cast enjoy their annual summer break in Marbs last year. After a fight about cheating and who has been sleeping with who in Marbella, Lucy shouts: "I'm not the mug, you are," before throwing her entire glass of Sangria in his face and all over his skin-tight crisp white shirt.

After weeks of auditions, the Britain's Got Talent live shows kicked off last night - and Digital Spy was in the audience to get a first-hand look at Christian Spridon's ridiculous shirtless dancers. But what else did we see? Well, not much. But that won't stop us from bringing you a Behind-the-scenes look at all the action - here's what we spotted!
1. Simon Cowell sits on cushions to make himself look taller.
Well, we assume it's to make himself look taller. At the first ad break, a woman rushed in with a tower of cushions to put on the judges' chairs - but only Simon got two. For extra comfort or extra height? Who knows. What we do know is that he wouldn't stop leaning back in his chair like a naughty school boy. Sit up straight, Simon. We thought he was going to fall backwards, and then he'd be sorry.

The Britain's Got Talent semi-final got a little heated tonight (May 26) when judges David Walliams and Alesha Dixon clashed.
After Walliams suggested that his golden buzzer act Christian Spridon was a better singer than Dixon who he said made a career miming, Dixon responded by soaking her glass of water all over Walliams - in a move reminiscent of Sharon Osbourne's quarrel with Louis Walsh all those years ago.

After Spridon's performance of 'It's Raining Men', Dixon told the singer: "I am speechless. If it wasn't for all the dancers, I probably would have buzzed you too. It was so out of tune, it was ridiculous. It didn't work for me but it was so much fun."

Britain's Got More Talent host Stephen Mulhern is causing mischief again this weekend by pitting the judges against each other.
The impish host challenged Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams to name a celebrity for each letter of the alphabet in 60 seconds.
Walliams instantly had an important question, asking: "Are we allowed to have someone who's died? Like Louis Walsh?"
Meanwhile, Dixon made no secret of her desire to win - and got so overexcited that items in her dressing room began to fly about.
Elsewhere, Cowell surprised no-one when he reached the letter "M", choosing: "Me."

A motocross display team called Bold Dogs leave the judges fearful in a new clip from Britain's Got Talent.
The act performed a variety of dangerous stunts on motorbikes outside the arena in the hope of impressing the judges with their unique audition.
The team jumped, flipped and did handstands on their motorbike handlebars as judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams look on with a mix of amazement and fear.
Their stunts were so extreme and dangerous, that it caused Simon to shield his eyes at one point, while Alesha said the act's performance was "amazing".

Stephen Mulhern shakes it like a Polaroid picture in a new clip from Britain's Got More Talent.
In this weekend's episode of the show, Mulhern is lucky enough to get a twerking lesson from auditionee Katie May O'Hanlon.
Watch Stephen Mulhern twerking below:
While Mulhern hasn't quite got the wiggle factor of Miley Cyrus - "That's, er, not it," O'Hanlon tells him - he seems mystified by the discovery that you can also twerk upside down.
But Mulhern isn't the only Bgt star busting some moves, as judge David Walliams shows off his signature high kick in the episode.
As Alesha Dixon looks on and giggles, Mulhern questions why exactly Walliams needs to kick his own hand as part of the routine.
Taking his advice, Walliams kicks into mid-air - and reaches completely new heights.

David Walliams has been sending Simon Cowell up again in the latest Britain's Got Talent trailer and promotional pictures released today (March 24).
Walliams poses as one of the music mogul's nannies - although perhaps not one we'd ever employ - wearing a nurse's hat with a brunette wig and a short maid's dress, complete with white apron.
As the pair's friendship seems to be based on outdoing one another by playing practical jokes, we round up a few of their recent attempts to wind each other up:

The current tenth run of The X Factor was rumoured to be the last, but in June ITV boss Adam Crozier restated the broadcaster's commitment to what he called "a very important programme for ITV".
Cowell said: "I am thrilled that we have extended our deal with ITV for Britain's Got Talent and The X Factor.
"They have been fantastic partners and we have some exciting new plans to take the shows to the next level."
ITV Director of Television Peter Fincham added: "Britain's Got Talent and The X Factor are two of the most popular and most talked about shows on TV. They set the gold standard for entertainment production.
"We're pleased to announce this deal, which will see them continue to be an important part of ITV's schedule.

Britain's Got More Talent host Stephen Mulhern has revealed that he would have liked Leonardo DiCaprio to play him in the Paul Potts movie - or Micky Flanagan.
The presenter joked to Digital Spy that he is angry not to have been featured in One Chance, which stars James Corden as the original Bgt winner.
"To be quite honest I'm fuming," he jested. "Of course I would have loved to be in it, but it was never, ever discussed."
On who would play him, he continued: "Do you know who I love at the moment, but he's so not like me, and also older, but Micky Flanagan. Honestly, he is just genius. I know [that doesn't make sense], but I'm trying to think of other people.
"Leonardo DiCaprio, easy! What makes me laugh with that is that you've got James Corden playing Paul Potts and Leonardo DiCaprio doing Mulhern!"

Stephen Mulhern has told Digital Spy that he wants to bring back Grange Hill and star in it as a teacher.
The Britain's Got More Talent host, who fronted a successful Catchphrase revival on ITV, picked the BBC school drama, Stars in Their Eyes and a new version of prank show Beadle's About as classic light entertainment formats he wants to see again.
"Stars in Their Eyes, I don't know why, it just had a bit of magic about it," he said. "Beadle's About... Mulhern's About, it's a new show! No, Beadle's About I thought was just genius."
He continued: "Grange Hill, I'd bring that back. I'd love to star in it. There's so many."
Mulhern also confessed that he is somewhat worried about the lack of buzz around his new project, breakfast show Sunday Side Up.

Ofcom has ruled against Britain's Got More Talent for showing a burlesque dancer shaking her naked bottom ten minutes before the 9pm watershed at 8.50pm, before repeating the footage at 5.30pm, 6.30am and 1.25pm.
The Stephen Mulhern-hosted Britain's Got Talent spinoff featured burlesque dancer Scarlet stripping to The Jungle Book number 'The Bare Necessities'.
Director of content standards at Ofcom Tony Close said: "There is a clear line in terms of what it is acceptable to broadcast before the 9pm watershed.
"A striptease act broadcast at times when a significant number of children were likely to be watching clearly crossed this line."
He added: "The protection of children from potentially harmful content is a key area of concern for Ofcom, reflected in our ongoing work on the enforcement of the 9pm watershed
"We will continue to closely monitor compliance in this area and take appropriate action when needed."

Amanda Holden has been criticised for appearing to suggest that a children's dance troupe should appear on stage "naked".
The Britain's Got Talent judge apparently misheard a question about finalists Pre-Skool on Thursday's spinoff show Britain's Got More Talent, The Sun reports.
During a viewers' question and answer session, head judge Simon Cowell was asked what the 12 performers, aged 5 to 8, would "need to do to pull it out of the bag and win the show".
Holden jumped in and said: "Be naked. All of them be naked!"
However, she then asked: "What was the question?"
Sources at the show stressed that the 42-year-old mother of two had not heard the question and was "mortified" that people thought she would have made the comment had she understood what was asked.
After the remark was broadcast, a number of Twitter users expressed anger at Holden's apparent suggestion.
