Not sure
mowens9301 June 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Am I supposed to like Bill, the jerk ex who wants to "do the right thing" by kicking out his existing wife and three kids to buy his new wife he knocked up through an affair? And am I supposed to feel sorry for the woman he cheated with and impregnated? So far the characters are frustrating and I'm not sure I'll continue with the series. The three main women are great, I enjoyed their relationship, but that's the only thing going for it, which may not be enough for me. I was hoping for something more light hearted and fun. This does not fit that bill for me unfortunately.

If Hallmark made a series

It's like a Hallmark movie made into a series. No creativity, predictable plots, bad acting, subtle Christian tropes.

Bill & Noreen's relationship is awkward
komeenie4 February 2022
Jamie Lynn Spears acting is lacking and seeing her and Chris Klien in a relationship on screen looks incredibly awkward, borderline creepy. It's like the old cliche that a man leaves his family for a younger woman trope but it seriously Jamie Lynn looks like a teenager so it just radiates pervy vibes.

Worst photography I have ever seen on TV
WTinCA7 August 2022
It is a mediocre soap, but given time a few of the actors might have made it work. But whoever did the camera work should be forced to find a different career. Every single scene is so shallow depth of field that literally nothing is in focus. It is like watching through a fog. Shallow depth of field is a tool which should be used very lightly for occasional emotional impact. This cinema photographer didn't know how to do it. Also all the scenes are way too high key...aka over exposed with very little contrast, and absolutely nothing sharp and clear. My wife seems to like the story line so I'll watch a bit more to see if it gets better, but so far the camera work and editing give it a huge thumbs down.
