The book hanging over the end table and sofa arm at Rat's house while Amy is trying to seduce him appears and disappears. It is "Crossing the Threshold of Hope" by Pope John Paul II.
As Rat is giving advice/encouragement to Amy through the open window after she returns his poems, he rises from his crouched position to stand while he is speaking. Rat pauses and the scene cuts to a front shot of Amy, but he is back in a crouched position. When the shot returns to a front view of Rat, he is standing again.
Whilst uploading her erotic story to the Le Passion site, it is briefly shown that there is no option for leaving one's phone number. Also, Amy did not attach a file, nor did she include her email address in the spaces provided on the submission form, therefore her receiving a phone call from the magazine is unlikely.
