I see this episode was not very popular among the fans, however it gets a kudos from me for the effort. Of course it was not perfect, mostly story wise, yet the cinematography was beautiful, I really did appreciate some of the shots. The 'Casablanca' vibe was obviously there. I see no issue from time to time to let myself enjoy something different, especially something that brings some nostalgia with it, so, crew members, good job for being bold, don't get discouraged and dare to play/experiment once in a while, I for one am looking forward to it.

HOLY CRAP! Legacies' noir episode was absolutely incredible. Usually I'm not too fond of when shows try to take a swing at doing noir-style, but Legacies did a great job. While it was pretty obvious the killer would be Dark Josie, the tension, buildup, & reveal were all still so good. The ending with Dark Josie waking up and showing just how powerful she is was INCREDIBLE. I cannot stop gushing about this Dark Josie storyline. This is something we'll look back on years from now and reminisce on just how phenomenal & iconic it was. 10/10 episode!

Despite people saying it was bad it was actually really good, enjoyable, entertaining and fun to watch. I personally love this kind of content in a 1940s noir film. It was something different and I liked it a lot, it is one of my favourite episodes of the season. I like the way dark Josie came into play as the killer who also rewrote the rules of the game. I understand this type of concept isn't for everyone but even so it wasn't a terrible episode. I loved the change in content as everyone wanted something different but weren't happy when they got change. Overall, I loved it lots. Keep it up.

The last 3 mins were interesting, but the rest of this episode is 0... We want magic, not some old school detective thing

I haven't even finished watching the episode but I already don't care about what's going on in it. I'm playing Spider Solitaire and writing this review at the same time. Can't wait to move on to the next episode.

It's THAT kind of episode. What is with WB executives obsession with Noir specials? And in Legacies, the historical inaccuracies are pouring through... Fantasy characters or not, the show is STILL supposed to be grounded in reality. So the way they chose to go is unrealistic. Episodes post « Winter break » were where season 2 was losing me, with silly and unwanted storylines. On the bright side, Kai is finally dead. For good this time, I hope. But I guess it was simply dealing with the original series bad memories... So now that the show is back to stealing, and recycling tired scripts, I'm curious to know how long it can last being about basically nothing new...
