Just when you thought it was safe to start complaining about The Dead Zone again, they bring out the season six big guns.

I thought I was about to go numb after the last episode, where it was apparently back to standalone business as usual. But thankfully I was wrong. Instead, this week we had a unique show, where the writers got a bit creative with Johnny's vision usage, well as much as they can after doing almost 80 episodes now. This kind of reminding me how Johnny experienced his visions in Deja Vu. So props for that.

Also, of course, major props for advancing the relationship with Sara storyline, but at the same time I think it was still a bit rushed for them to go as far as this show took them in such a small amount of time. After all, it took America's favorite "Just shut up and get together already!" Couple, Who's The Boss's Tony and Angela, like 9 years before they finally hooked up. I just think they could have dragged it out more with Sara, every time she starts to develop longing for Johnny, pulling back out of guilt for Walt. But, hey, that wouldn't be Sara would it, the girl that slept with Johnny even when she was married to Walt, so even more so now that he's been gone for six months. Then again, her saying how "happy" she's been the past few months was still pushing it.

We also go to see the sheriff in action, furthering her rivalry with Sara. So, someone in TDZ creative definitely was looking to freshen up season 6, and for that, thanks!

PS -- Sara kept mentioning how she left her kids with a babysitter named Alison. All the writers would have had to do was change that name to Erica and I would have given this show one more point for amazing continuity. If you can't figure out why, look it up.
