It's hard to believe that it's been several years before a Christmas special came along. It's very funny, but best of all it's great to have them all together, just a shame that Jack isn't back in it yet.
It's a reflective episode, as they travel, they all picture the state of their lives, and previous visits, Freddie's trip down memory lane was very funny, and of course features Lilo Lill.
I love that it was actually set in Italy, so the location work is great. You can only imagine the viewing figures, I can imagine the numbers were huge.
It is the end of an era, the end for Peter Howitt and Gilly Coman, Billy and Aveline, the pair would be replaced in the next series, which was a real shame.
