Can you make a 911 emergency call and scream that a crime is being committed in your house and give a false address? Well, obviously not - which is what we discover happens here in the opening scene - but I don't understand is why the caller's 911 call isn't immediately identified by police, so they know it's genuine. I can't believe - in real life - that isn't done.
Anyway, after an hysterical call about someone in his house and threatening his family, S.W.A.T. busts into the house and kills the husband who had come into the living room brandishing a knife. His wife, after calming down, says she is going to sue everyone. One reason, Horatio and the CSI team finds out, is that the all the excitement was for nothing as the call was made from a neighbor's phone. Hmm mm.
Film star Tom Sizemore guest stars in this He plays a sleazy private eye, "Kurt Rossi," and he has a big role in this episode. Well, if you're going to have a Hollywood star with guest spot, you might as well use him to full advantage.
The hunt to find out who exactly made this phone call which led to a death is a pretty interesting one as we discover technology that can transform people's voice and where they call from, etc.
There is a small sidebar dealing with past problems of "Eric Delko" and of "Calleigh.Duquesne."
All in all, there is a lot good material in this episode.
