Sam Simmons and Jessica Chesler, creators and exec producers of MTV's reality series "The Paper," have inked an overall deal with the net to develop new projects.
Simmons and Chesler met a couple of years ago when they worked as producers of unscripted programming at MTV News & Docs. Together, they created two pilots for the network, the unscripted "Grounded" and the scripted "Daily Pops," before making it to the air with "Paper."
The series, which went behind the scenes at Cypress Bay High's newspaper, aired in the spring behind "The Hills."
Simmons and Chesler are repped by Icm.
