This film has raised social issues, very nicely made film. Good to see such a project after a long time.

A few hits and misses

The film primarily showcases the story of an Autist girlchild 'Isha', whose role is very limited in the film. As the main lead if Isha's role was more prominent, it would have been much more interesting. But, it was also good direction to hide Isha from the limelight and prevent exposing lack of acting skills of the junior actor. If she would have been in the limelight, it would have been a certain disaster. Dr Shastri's role was quite mature and well managed on the other hand Suresh's acting seemed a bit disoriented in the begining but, he picked up as the story went on. Ghaseetaram's devious role was carried out nicely but, if there was more intensity in his role, it would have been a treat to watch him. As always watching Sushma Seth was a treat to watch. The film was made quite nicely and the message was delivered appropriately. The witchcraft scene is good enough to give goosebumps. It is one of the best films I have seen of this director.
