Mary Clarkson is busy getting her house and family ready for the return of her husband Billy, who's been 'at sea' for two years, things don't go as smoothly as planned, as all members of the family need to be catered for.
Written by Vince Powell, this series often features in many worst of lists, so I've as keen to see what all the fuss was about.
First episode, I hate to say it, I don't see what all the negative fuss was about, sure the language was fruity, but that's what I'd expect from a show from 1975, I'm personally not offended by it.
Funnier than many shows I've seen from the time, I chucked a few times, I thought Sheila Fay and Ken Jones were an amusing duo.
I can imagine it may be offensive to our friends in Liverpool though, of course they're a band of crooks and layabouts, I may be wrong, time will tell.
7/10.
