Perhaps every married person should watch this one...
planktonrules22 April 2009
STORM begins with a couple arguing. She is so wrapped up in her job and travels so much that she barely shows her husband any attention. He's feeling hurt and as a result he pushes her away from him. Although they both care, neither is showing it very well and the couple seem on the brink of a split up unless something drastic happens.

Later, the guy is listening to the news and hears about a plane accident in the storm. When he calls the airport, he gets the runaround and begins to panic--what is she's on this plane?! All night, he stays up wondering and worrying.

In the end, she returns home safe and sound. Both have learned through this experience that the marriage can be saved and they need to work on it because it is so important to them.

Despite the topic, the film is not preachy at all. It just shows couples in the Western world--couples who are pulled apart by commuting and careers so that they don't realize what they are losing in the process. Well made and very, very timely.
