Huh?

Warning: Spoilers
The good news is there are no flashbacks in this episode, at least until that incomprehensible last scene. The bad news is, it does have Maria being chased through a cornfield by a guy with axe. It's not clear if this weird tangent will ever be mentioned again, and the same goes for Michael, Alex and Maria deciding the best solution to a love triangle is polyamory.

Given that this show has a habit of dragging storylines out, it's weird that Max's amnesia is over and done with in one episode. It seemed the perfect way to avoid addressing what happened between him and Rosa, but instead she's just not in the episode for no reason. And he kept the bullet Liz was shot with? How very serial killer.

Elsewhere, Isobel finally gets a gay hook-up, albeit not with the person expected, and Kyle finds evidence that Steph probably isn't a secret alien after all.

98% Amazing, 2% WHAT!!!

Phenomenal episode that further developed both relationships and character arcs. The episode kept me on the edge of my seat and felt far longer than its hour run time. Immensely pleased at this furthering of the plot and only more excited to see what's happening next week!

Worst episode of the series (so far)

Warning: Spoilers
I've really been loving this show since the beginning, and so far season 2 has been off to a great start. But this episode was horrible and very disappointing.

The writing, directing, and acting at many points was just terrible. The opening fight scene with Max and Isobel was a good indicator of how the rest of the episode would be. I was cringing at that scene. Everything with Max and Liz was fine and even sweet at the end, but his loss of memory seemed unnecessary since it was fixed by the end and he remembered her. Feels like the writers threw that in just so it could be more romantic when Liz tells him she loves him (which again, wasn't necessary).

Then the whole situation with Maria/Alex/Michael... That was completely out of character for everyone except Michael. Now we're going to have to watch Maria get all upset about her decision to do that, later on this season.

This episode isn't going to be the one that makes me give up on the show. But if the rest of the season plays out similarly, then yep I'm done.

Too LBGTQ for this straight soul. Not much sci-fi, not much tech or FX, why bother. We get this exposure on the street all the time. It's old hat.

Nonsense after nonsense

Warning: Spoilers
That threesome was straightforward fan fiction writing, let me guess, whoever wrote this was a fan of the original and had some unresolved bisexual fantasies? Nothing against threesomes but this was so out of character for Maria and Alex that fell wrong!

Also the whole amnesiac Max and Liz situation is nonsensical, hell their whole romance makes no sense at all.
