Every time you walk away you take a piece of me with you
marthawilcox183118 August 2014
This episode kind of sums up what Rufus feels about Lily. In episode 10, he tells her that he should never have let her let him go. In episode 12, he tells her that he is still in love with her. You feel what he feels for Lily, and I certainly know that when someone walks out of your life they take a piece of you with them. Fortunately, Rufus had his wife to temporarily fill that gap and have Dan and Jenny.

I like the way he stands in front of Lily and despite her protests he says no and kisses her. That is persistence. I've never been that persistent about the one I love except at primary school when I was chasing after the ones I was fascinated by.

This series teaches you about the power of persistence, be it in love, or in pursuing your dream.

Woman on the Verge (#1.17)

Warning: Spoilers
So now we know what happened with Serena killing somebody. Turns out she didn't really do it but was blaming herself for no real reason. Not only was the guy doing drugs himself, she actually called 911 trying to help him. Georgina was never her friend, she was horrible. It was nice to see her real friends supporting her. And Lily being on her side helping her to get over it was also great, she is a good mother. It was also great to see her story with Rufus go on. I love their relationship. Her interview avoiding talking about him was well done. And it was so beautiful when she watched Rufus at the concert, he saw her and went after her and they had this amazing kiss. Where will it go now?

aw, Michelle... the Dawn patrol here...

Still think Michelle Trachtenberg is just wonderful snookums cute. I've been neglecting to say this for the past couple weeks while watching on DVD, but back in the days of BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER I was a h-u-g-e Dawn aficionado. It's really kinda weirdly amazing to watch Michelle play the bad girl, and acquit herself so damn well. Some fans tend to really hate the villains, so I would just like to point out, wow, Michelle, I still love ya, kid!

As for the big secret revealed, how utterly lame. The evidence: Party girl Serena might well be, but in her now-mostly-sober times, this girl ain't dumb. Serena would have recollected what happened and known it wasn't her fault and that she didn't kill anybody. What she is guilty of: excessive drug use, which in turn means: no respect for herself, her body, and ultimately those around her. She is prone to "loose living" and being a disgrace to herself. If this was real life, I'd have wept for this waste of a young life. But I digress. I'm pointing out that the major story arc of Serena believing she had killed that guy is a superficially contrived weak contraption i.e. utterly lame... and Josh Schwartz (with so much talent at his disposal) could have seen to it that something more convincing was utilized.
