What a successful homage ...

... to American comic history.

I have enjoyed this series very much. The combination of stories surrounding the DC/Marvel business, presented with interviews of the protagonists from the era; embellished with re-enacted scenes - combined with appealing presentation of the comic illustrations. An absolute success. The commentator is all-time comic fan Kevin Smith.

The actors in the re-enacted scenes were exquisitely chosen. Sean Gunn as Stan Lee. Great! With Jack KIrby I still thought: "How could the producers get such good footage from the original?" Gal Gadot ... hmmm nice!

A great documentary for any superhero comic book lover.

The chronicle cleverly dissects their complex relationship, serving riveting tales from their storied past. A must-watch for anyone interested in cultural evolution, its masterful storytelling gets a 10/10. Really fun to see the compare and contrast between Marvel and DC Comics as well as the various actors and actresses involved in depicting the titans of the comic book industry.
