These guys have never seen a fox hunt

I enjoy Murdoch usually, but this episode was a bit sillier than most. In particular, the fox hunt was ridiculous. Any self-respecting hunt would have at least 20 dogs and not just the small beagles but the taller fox hounds that cover distance faster and can leap over larger objects. Clearly the writers and/or producers have never seen a real fox hunt.

That was not a good episode, even when it had some fun parts (as always). The plot was silly, and the subplot with Julia being basically Bart suspecting Flanders killed his wife is beyond stupid. The writers need to be more consistent in their description of Julia. She is usually rational and competent but sometimes she is depicted as a giggling stupid and nothing else. And that without beginning to talk about her moral conundrums.

Besides, this episode continues the thread of members of cast being missing without explanation (Crabtree in this case).
