WOW
One of the best Episode of Dickinson and of year 2021. Amazed by the performances of the Cast. Beautiful music.
Wonderful Direction, Cinematography and the Screenplay. The writers deserve all the praise.
The scene where Emily imagined Sue singing "Split the Lark" was so intense(Ella Hunt is GREAT Singer) and the ending talk b/w Emily and Adelaide May was really great.
This Episode was turning point for Sue, Austin and Emily, As they all understood what needed to be done, what they were doing wrong and what must be the meaning of their lives.

Things don't go as planned for Emily when her family attends the opera. I have to say that this episode completely blew me away. I thought the story was heading in one direction, and the writers took the story in a completely different direction. I won't spoil anything, but more shows need to have episodes like this one. This episode was surprisingly beautiful. Everything was perfect the writing, the costumes, the music, the character interactions. Also, it was great to see how Emily is confronted with the consequence of her desire to be famous. She also is asked to consider why she wants to be famous. I also loved the small moments between Emily and Sue. Episodes like this one make the show worth watching.
Spectacular!

One of the best episodes of the first two seasons - a little bit of everything, plus many hints of where the future of the series might be going. The writing, acting, sets, costumes, music and so much more come together to make this one of the most enjoyable episodes I've watched so far.
The scenes where Sue is subbed in for the opera singer are simply stunning and push the story arc in several possible directions.
Also, a big shout-out to Teenage Head from Hamilton, ON, Canada, whose song, "Picture My Face," was used over the closing credits. What a perfect choice of music to end the episode.
Truly excellent!
