Trish: When we went to see Brokedown Palace, the four of us totally empathized with Clair Danes' character. Even though she was innocent she accepted the prison sentences fate handed to her with grace. During the last shot, her head held high, smiling, she voiced her desire to be free. Me, Billie, Bammer, Chopsticks, we wanted her to be free, too. Back in the real world, Claire Danes apologized for the comments she made about Manila, but the city council claimed they knew when an apology wasn't sincere. Ten years later, they're still waiting for Claire Danes to 'really' apologize. The character isn't allowed out and the actress isn't allowed in. And me, Billie, Bammer and Chopsticks, I suppose, we are like Kate Beckinsale's character. Free, but always waiting.
