Recently, Shelton noted that he’s written letters that he hoped would get back to Swift. Here’s why.
Blake Shelton said he wrote letters in the hopes of getting Taylor Swift to sing at his new bar

He also recently opened a new bar, Ole Red Las Vegas, which serves as a bar,...

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have had their marriage under a microscope for some time. It seems the lack of time together is weighing heavily on the country singer, especially because Gwen recently ditched him to spend time with Jesus instead.
Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Have Packed Schedules
It’s common for Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s busy schedules to keep the husband and wife apart. Sometimes they are on opposite sides of the country, and other times, they are on opposite sides of the world. Maintaining a marriage and keeping it healthy is difficult, even for couples that spend time together daily.
However, this is extra difficult for a couple in the public eye like Blake and Gwen. Both of them show no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Unfortunately, this often leads to them prioritizing career moves and advancements more than spending quality time together.

Rejoice, country music fans! Kane Brown released a tune with Blake Shelton on his most recent album. Brown revealed he was working on a tune that sounded like Shelton and decided he should work with the icon himself. Despite the success of these two artists, the tune in question has been ignored by the radio.
Kane Brown thought 1 of his songs sounded like Blake Shelton’s ‘God’s Country’
During a 2022 interview with Billboard, Brown discussed the creation of his song “Different Man.” “I was driving to the gym — that’s where I really have time to think and listen,” he said. “I wanted one more feature on the album, and Blake was the first person I thought of. The song just reminded me of the ‘God’s Country’ kind of Blake Shelton, so I felt like it made sense.”

Blake Shelton‘s “God’s Country” was written by a group of country artists. Shelton was not one of them. During an interview, Shelton revealed what it was like hearing the track for the first time. He felt very connected to God in that moment.

During a 2019 interview with The Tennessean, Shelton discussed hearing “God’s Country” for the first time while he was on his farm in Oklahoma. “It was the most shocking moment I’ve had in my 20 years of doing this,” he said. “I was in a place physically that I consider to be God’s country doing the thing that makes me feel the most connected to God, which is working on the land … It’s almost like a chance to stop and catch your breath and go, ‘We’re still all here. As Reba McEntire, Gwen Stefani, John Legend and Niall Horan’s teams continued to fill up during Tuesday’s episode of The Voice, another batch of singers threw down in hopes of following Gina Miles into the winner’s circle. But did any of them have what it takes to emerge victorious in Season 24? Did any of them even have what it takes to put out a bop as catchy as Season 21 trio Girl Named Tom? (Listen below; I’m addicted.) First let’s discuss the evening’s competitors, then you can weigh in in the comments.

Exclusive: Producer Miranda Bailey, known for movies such as Swiss Army Man, Don’t Think Twice and The Diary of a Teenage Girl, says that multiple studios and streamers shied away from acquiring her completed drama series Unconventional due to its queer themes.
Bailey, who declined to name the companies, is instead planning to release the series in 2024 on VOD through distribution label The Film Arcade, which has acquired U.S. rights to the nine-episode season.
Eastsiders creator Kit Williamson is behind the Sundance Lab-developed drama, which follows eccentric, queer siblings Noah and Margot Guillory and their significant others Daniel Charles and Eliza Slate as they try to start an unconventional family while navigating their thirties.

“The Voice” just can’t quit Blake Shelton.
Four months after leaving NBC’s reality TV show, the country coach’s shadow still looms large as it aired its Season 24 premiere on Monday, September 25. Blake was mentioned a whopping 16 times during the two-hour opener, with current coaches John Legend, Gwen Stefani, Niall Horan and Reba McEntire seemingly feeling “Lonely Tonight” because the “God’s Country” singer isn’t still buzzing around the set like a “Honey Bee.”
Blake’s first shout-out came at the two-minute mark, when host Carson Daly presented the newest coach with a big pair of scissors so she could cut through the red ribbon on her chair. “Reba, here are your giant scissors for your chair. It’s been cleaned since Blake sat in it, don’t worry,” Carson said. As Reba sliced through the ribbon, Gwen (aka Blake’s wife) exclaimed, “Oh my God, I’m gonna cry!

One of the prevailing observations of Travis Scott’s Utopia album has been how much it sounds like a Ye West project. Listeners have called out the bevy of features, momentous beat switches, and sparse, reverbed landscapes as noticeable effects of being around Ye as much as Travis has. Chance The Rapper once called himself “Kanye’s best prodigy,” but Travis may have claimed that crown by default on Utopia.
Over the last week, fans have revealed that the Travis-Ye parallels aren’t just about inspiration from Ye but tracks...

On his fourth studio album, Utopia, Travis Scott unleashes a familiar bag of tricks: seemingly endless beat switch-ups, seemingly for pure showmanship’s sake; a who’s-who of guests, ranging here from Dave Chappelle to James Blake; and an eclectic sonic palette courtesy of the biggest producers working today. Of course, the Houston rapper himself serves as the ringleader to the unfurling chaos, with his trademark bleary vocals—usually slathered in an excessive amount of Auto-Tune—zigzagging across each track.
The album operates less as a cohesive body of work and more as a series of show-stopping set pieces, each one seeking to out-do the last. By the time you get to “Telekinesis,” Utopia’s operatic penultimate track, it feels like the album has already reached at least three different climaxes. Simply put, Scott is in the business of engineering spectacles.

After his 2018 album Astroworld, Travis Scott reached a commercial steeple that allowed him to sell candles and McDonalds meals and Forgiatto rims and anything else he wanted to pick up and wail, “It’s lit!” with. He carried that eye for consumerism into his Utopia rollout to middling effect. Even after his planned performance at the Giza Pyramid was canceled (the mere possibility of a show there was striking since it was unclear whether he’d be insured to perform again anywhere after the Astroworld concert tragedy), Utopia is still...

Utopia is the follow-up to Scott’s 2018 album, Astroworld, and arrives as Scott’s first full-length since the crowd crush at his 2021 Astroworld music festival that left 10 people dead and thousands more injured. Last month, a grand jury declined to criminally indict Scott for the deaths at Astroworld.
Ahead of the album’s release, Scott shared the lead single, “K-pop,” a collaboration with Bad Bunny and The Weeknd. Other guest contributors include Beyoncé, Drake, Sza, Future, 21 Savage, and Kid Cudi as well as Bon Iver and James Blake.

When the Directors Guild of America reached a tentative new collective bargaining agreement with the AMPTP over the weekend, all eyes turned back to the writers (now on strike for over a month), and to the actors, who will announce the results of its own strike authorization vote this week as it begins studio negotiations.
Conventional wisdom held that a DGA deal could serve as a framework for writers, just as it did in 2007-08, when the DGA reached a deal on the 73rd day of the WGA’s 100-day work stoppage. But both the WGA and SAG-AFTRA have made clear the outcome of the DGA would not impact their own negotiating agendas.
“Thrilled that the DGA was able to use the power of the WGA’s labor action to secure a deal that works for them,” writer-producer Amy Berg said in a tweet thread. “We proposed a number of these terms…...

In the end, with Blake Shelton, it’s all about the voice … and without any need to punctuate that phrase with quote marks or italics or a capital T and V. The first and last reason he arrived on America’s doorstep was that baritone, which resonates with an authority that seems handed down from a different era of country music, no matter how contemporary the musical settings built up around it became. It perfectly fits serious songs from “The Baby” to “God’s Country,” but even when Shelton is singing a rowdy party anthem, there’s something in his tone that makes it feel like a grown-ass rowdy party anthem.
And remember when he cut off his long locks back in the 2000s, a few years into his music stardom, and what a relief that was? It wasn’t so much because the mullet had gone out of fashion (although...

Nine years ago, actor Adam MacDonald made his feature writing and directing debut with an entertaining survival thriller called Backcountry (watch it Here), which starred Missy Peregrym as a woman lost in the wilderness and menaced by a bear. Two and a half years ago, we heard that MacDonald and Peregrym were going to be teaming up for a new survival thriller called Out Come the Wolves – which, as you might guess from the title, will have Peregrym facing off with a pack of ravenous wolves. “Elvis” director of photography Mandy Walker won Feature Film at the ASC Awards March 5, when the American Society of Cinematographers handed out its honors at the 37th annual awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Elvis cinematographer Mandy Walker cracked a glass ceiling on Sunday, becoming the first woman to win the American Society of Cinematographers Award in the feature competition during the 37th ASC Awards.
The crowd at the Beverly Hilton’s International Ballroom erupted with applause and gave Walker a lengthy standing ovation as her name was called.
“This is for all the women that win this award after me,” she said to enthusiastic applause, and she looked for to more women breaking more glass ceilings. “Thijs is an inclusive, representative community,” she said, adding, “I didn’t cry, I thought I was going to cry.”
She thanked Elvis director Baz Luhrmann for allowing her to “create magic with him;” Catherine Martin for her “support and inspiration; and her crew for “dancing with the camera and flying with the camera” during Austin Butler’s performance as Elvis.

Mandy Walker has won the American Society of Cinematographers feature-film award for “Elvis,” making her the first woman ever to win that award. She is only the third female nominee in the category, after Rachel Morrison for “Mudbound” in 2018 and Ari Wegner for “The Power of the Dog” last year.
Walker now has the chance to become the first woman to win the Oscar for cinematography, where she is also the third female nominee in the gender-neutral Oscars category that took the longest to nominate a woman.
