Watch only after seeing the Movie

I just got finished watching this feature on the DVD after seeing the movie. For a making of film, it dose a decent job. The only problem I have is that it gives almost everything away.

Throughout the thirteen minutes of film it show a lot of clips from the movie and has a lot of commentary from the actor/crew. The commentary from them is what gives most of the movie away. They explain how certain characters die and even the very end of the movie.

This is a good making of to watch if you have seen the movie, but if you watch this before you see the movie it will ruin a lot of the movie for you.

Have you lost control?

This is the longest of the three featurettes on the DVD of 28 Weeks Later, and I bet you can guess what movie it's a making of on. Then again, is that really what it is? It consists of interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and clips of both films, and some of the latter two gets irritatingly stylized... honestly, what was the point of that? Note that this documentary spoils most of the picture itself. Anyway, would you not expect this to talk about, well, how they put it together? They barely do. They go into the casting, but other than that, they only talk about what they wanted to do and how they tried to do it. Not the camera-work(other than how they couldn't shoot at night and why), the music, the tone... and most of what they say about the script is mentioning and describing the concepts that they rejected. They do some decent analysis, and it can be interesting. Crew, and to a lesser extent, actors have things to add that are worth your attention. I do think this is mislabeled; it should be called "commentary" or "explanation", as that is what it is. And with a 13 minute running time, it could be more concise at that. There is bloody, brutal violence and disturbing content in this. I recommend this to those who liked the flick itself. 6/10
