Good start to the new season, but after they run out of crossover Stabler ideas and these over the top politician plots, do they have enough material to go on?

Still, glad to have the show back.

Decent people don't abuse women for their sexual needs. Decent people don't pay off people to keep their mouth shut when they do illegal things.

This is scary how close this episode is so close to real life and what is going on in Washington.

And those people who are crying that this is a leftist show and leftist agenda, probably don't mind the men they vote for doing these horrendous things.

It's a great episode.

I mean - maybe it is... But how about not getting so defensive and just enjoy the very good season premiere!?!?

Move on to the fictional shows on OAN if you can't stomach SVU anymore.

I don't know about everyone else, but I am getting sick of all the SVU vs NYPD, or SVU vs someone in the government. Law & Order SVU is getting close to having one less viewer.

P. S. Did anyone else notice that the SVU team was working out of a completely different looking office without explaining why? For a show starting season 23, that's just bad, or at lest lazy writing.

Getting way to political

I always liked this show but getting very tired of the left leaning narratives. You would think that every viewer belonged to one party.

Sad to see political agendas still at play in the new season.

I don't know why bad people have to be tagged with a color adjective to have it make it in an episode. All types of people are sleazy and manipulative and terrible calling out white people every single episode since last season is kind of ridiculous. Wish we could elevate enough to where color doesn't even come into play in an episode about crime.

I've watched this show since season 1 episode 1 I think my days are coming to an end.

This may be the "jumped the shark" episode for SVU. Two excellent characters/actors out, apparently to be replaced by two jerks. Plus, when combined with the "second" episode (immediately following), an absolutely nonsensical plot. My days of watching may be coming to an end.
