Pretty Good.

Guitar Hero Aerosmith is a pretty good game if you are a die hard Aerosmith Fan. However I think the group is good, not great. So people who are bigger fans of Aerosmith will enjoy this game more than me. Some of the songs are great though, like "Love in an Elevator", or "Rag Doll". BUt there are a lot of lesser known Aerosmith songs in there as well, so like I said before I think that this is a perfect game for Die Hard Aerosmith fans. The controls are very easy and it is not any more challenging than the other guitar hero games which is how it should. So while I am not a die hard Aerosmith fan, this game is quite good. Worth playing.

Disappointing, even by GH standards.

Warning: Spoilers
Well us fans had heard there was gonna be an Aerosmith Guitar Hero. As some one who's a die-hard GH fan and someone who's not very fond of Aerosmith, I was thinking "What's the point???", like you did.

While the gameplay is fun, it's also incredibly easy. The very first time I played, (like the other reviewer who gave it 2 stars) I played the whole thing on Medium without failing even one song. I might be good at GH, but that wasn't the case for GH2 and 3. On those GH2, even on Easy I couldn't beat a song without failing 2 or 3 times. GH3, that was rarely the case and on Both for medium, I sucked ass for 2 months. See, GH is all about CHALLENGE. I'm sure expert is pretty hard, but in this case I don't even care. Mind you this is coming from someone who sucks at about 60% of different types of video games.

Also that they're charging $60 for 41 songs, 10 of which need to be unlocked. There's no downloadable songs from XBOX live. Geez, GH2 had 60 songs and GH3 had well over 70, why not more? So overall, this game isn't one bit bad, and sure is fun to play despite the easy gameplay, but it's just a quick cash-in from Activision and really should be $30, even for a game that's really an expansion pack.

It's not that challenging, but fun to play if you're a GH gamer and/or Aerosmith fan!

In my opinion, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is pretty decent. The graphics are nice, awesome cut-scenes of the guys, and a pretty damn good track list (Well obviously! it's AEROSMITH!). But the game is somewhat lacking the challenge to the player. I shouldn't even said that because I'm not a crazy GH expert but it just felt funny to me when I was playing through the Hard difficulty. It just wasn't that....challenging to me. Expert is but the Hard level I went through it without breaking a sweat. Anyways, I recommend it for both GH fans and Aerosmith fans. And one more thing....WHERE'S GRAVEYARD BBQ?!?!? (haha! You gotta check out my other GH comments to understand) ROCK ON, HEROES!
