An exceptional film....so why is the rating so darn low?!

TWILIGHT is an exceptional film in every day, and yet the IMDb rating now stands at 2.9. Part of this is due to the small number of reviews and part of this is due to the bizarre way averages are figured on IMDb (the actual mean is over 5.0). You'd naturally assume that based on this number that this is a bad film, but it actually is one of the best shorts now featured on IMDb. As for those who did score it low, you wonder if they even saw the picture--it's THAT good.

This short film is about an elderly lady whose mind is fragmented and confused due to the effects of Alzheimers. She can't tell the difference between reality and fantasy and it's obvious she's in need of more care than her daughter can provide on her own. However, there's a brilliant twist at the end and you need to pay attention to understand just how confused the old lady actually is.

The two best things about the film are the exceptional script as well as the acting. In particular, Ellen Geer (daughter of Will Geer) is terrific as the confused lady. You'd swear that everything you see in the film is actually part of a real person's life.

A top-notch film from start to finish. George Kitson, who wrote and directed it, should be very proud.
