A must see - inspiration for any serious GAA supporter or player
A great documentary and very well made. An enormous tribute to Christy Ring and his life. It highlights his commitment to the game. There is some great original footage and features some of the other great players from around the country for example the three Rackard brothers from Wexford. It takes us back to Croke park and the excitement surrounding the games. Things are different in the GAA world now but as noted from the documentary,Christy knew all the tricks about diet, training etc and was totally ahead of his time. This documentary also captures and shows Ireland in the 1940's. We even see some footage of thrashing and some great shots of Cork City. Very well done.
