- Jack brings in several famous musical artists to perform a benefit song so his biological father can get a kidney, Tracy is afraid to speak at his high school's graduation, and Liz finds a talent in giving irresponsible relationship advice.—jgp3553@yahoo.com
- Open with Liz and Jack talking about kidneys. He says despite Milton being too old for the waiting list, "I don't want to be a match, it's too much."
Jenna has been invited to go on The Vontella Show - a Jerry Springer-like daytime deal - to promote TGS. Since Liz is the face of the Deal Breakers sketch, she has to go as well.
Dr. Spaceman gives Jack and Milton their initial kidney transplant consent forms before testing to see if Jack is a match. He has the paperwork backwards, with Milton donating a kidney to Jack. Milton tells Jack "Without a kidney, I'll die."
Kenneth tells Tracy his high school wants him to speak at graduation. Tracy says his school was a hell hole and that when a gangster named Campbell wanted him to find a snitch he dropped out and vowed never to come back. Dot Com, who attended the same school, tells Kenneth that Campbell was actually a science teacher who tried to make Tracy dissect a frog.
On Vontella Jenna is asked to answer audience questions about relationships. She struggles, but when Liz jumps in she shines, telling most of the women that their situation is a "deal breaker, ladies."
On set Kenneth tells Tracy he knows about the real Campbell. Tracy begins to cry, upset that "I was chicken" in high school. Tracy says street cred is the most important thing and that he vowed at the time never to cry again. We are then shown a montage of Tracy crying. Trracy doesn't want to go back because he doesn't want to be reminded of his greatest failure.
Milton has to leave town, telling Jack he owes his publisher another chapter of the Jimmy Carter bio he's working on: "Peanut to President." Milton apologizes to Jack about asking for a kidney, saying he never should have put him in that position. Milton now doesn't want Jack's kidney, only to make up for lost time. Milton asks if he can come back next week and Jack suggests they go to a Yankees game. Milton pulls out a baseball (one Carlton Fisk fouled off in third inning of his World Series home run game). He tosses it to Jack but Jack doesn't want it and throws it back. It keeps going back and forth until Milton says "We're having a catch."
Tracy spots a delivery man in the office, telling Kenneth that he grew up with the guy and that he was the baddest gangster in school. Kenneth suggests that Tracy is a sensitive artist and that being that way is a message the kids from his high school should hear.
Spaceman tells Jack he is not a match for Milton.
Jack tells Liz he is going to get Milton a kidney and will use the liberal media machine to get it. Jenna suggests a benefit concert. Jack asks Liz to start working on a set. Liz has been asked to go back on Vontella.
Jack offhandedly suggests that TGS doesn't have many more years left and Liz should "get yours" while she can. Jack talks to Elvis Costello, Clay Aiken and Mary J. Blige about doing a benefit: One song, one man, one kidney. Their previous charities haven't been working out and he suggests one for Milton. He asks for their help...and when they respond only with silence, he holds their feet to the coals: Each of them owe him one.
"MJ, you owe me," he says to Mary J. Blige. "Who got you out of a 20 year exclusive performance contract at Sea World? Aiken, your cousin Kenneth Parcell already promised me you'd do this. And Elvis...or should I say, Decklan McManus, international art thief?...."
They agree to do it.
Cerie tells Liz she's had a ton of media requests following the Vontella appearance. Tracy's wife and Pete's wife wait for Liz, telling her problems with their spouses. She basically tells them everything is a "deal breaker." The women celebrate Liz's advice.
Tracy speaks at his high school. Kenneth has joined him. Tracy talks about fear, but adds that "every single person in this room will one day be President of the United States." The Principal awards him an honorary diploma and Tracy starts to cry.
Jack gets more celebs to join the benefit.
Liz leaves to meet a book agent. On her way she runs into Pete and Tracy who both complain about the advice she gave their women. She explains that she doesn't have much time given the short life of the show.
Milton sees the benefit set and hugs Jack. Kenneth hangs up Tracy's diploma in his office.
The benefit begins with the the celebs singing "Just Give a Kidney, to a father or a dad . Just give a kidney, we hear it doesn't hurt that bad." They specifically mention Milton in the song.
During the song Liz tells Jack that "we've had a quite a year." He says: "What are you talking about, it's May."
