This wasn't a bad episode but it really lacked in credibility, right from the start. Don't get me wrong: it was interesting. However, you ("Ryan Wolfe") don't get severely beaten up - including having tooth yanked out with a pair of pliers - and not have a mark on you after somehow making it home and cleaning up.
Actually, there was a little mark on his lower lip from the tooth incident but all the blows to his ribs and head apparently went miraculously away within minutes! Wolfe has to hide what happened to him and compromise the case because if he doesn't, a six-year-boy will be killed. That's the kid of a man Ryan has been trying to help and was supposed to leave town under an assumed name so the Russians wouldn't find he and his boy.
Meanwhile, the main crime story is the murder of currency exchange broker Ian Warner and the robbery of over two million dollars from him.
The ending of this story also leaves us hanging in one regard: Wolfe was never held accountable for "delaying" the process. Huh??
