It's Always 'The Russian Mob'
ccthemovieman-18 July 2011
Warning: Spoilers
After this episode I can see there will be more of this story because the big "bad guy" isn't taken in and Horatio says, "I'm going to get you, Ivan," at the end.

"Ivan" is (not too hard to figure) the head of a local Russian Mob. By the way, whatever happened to the most famous mob: the Mafia? How come you never see that on these CSI shows, only the Russian mob? Just asking.

Anyway, the CSI has to figure out several murders here, which began at a boxing club and wound up in a remote Everglades area. In one of the deaths, one man bit the other guy's carotid artery.

Note: This program always has a slew of a beautiful young women in it, but this one also includes an older (40-50-year-old actress (there is no bio here at IMDb) who is stunningly attractive. I am speaking of Shawn Huff who plays "Susan Madden."

Dumbest premise ever
nomad47200215 April 2021
The central premise of this episode is the dumbest thing I have ever seen in my life, bar none. Now let me see if I get this straight... the Russian mob tells a guy, "If you fight one of our professional fighters and win, you can keep what's yours. If you lose, it's ours." Really? In a state where it's as easy to buy a gun as a pack of cigarettes, I would not wanna be the one to try telling that to someone who owns a million dollar slip, and a multi-million dollar boat. This was only the fourth episode of this Dreck that I saw, and it was the last.
