My God those guys are worthless, can't even properly describe the food to Izzie! She looks wayyy more beautiful with almost no makeup, btw. Before she got sick she wore so much makeup, and now she looks incredibly beautiful without any.

The little girl who shot her father is the most gorgeous thing ever! And the case is so powerful, and I love that Meredith steps up and defends her. And the chief yelling at her, and then Derek talking to him. It's all very, very good. Ellen is amazing!

Izzie's mom is so annoying, I get why Izzie wouldn't want her there. Katherine does such a good job playing sick Izzie. It's incredibly real.

Great seeing Thatcher again, he is weird and awkward as always. The show follows up on him, and I like that. And yay Mark, for showing up at the restaurant. I love Mark and Lexie!

I'm Sorry, Meredith

This Episode begins with Izzie, she is maybe having surgery today. Izzie gets visited by her mother Robbie. Maddy shot Mike down. Maddy is just a child. Mike is Maddy's father. Thatcher tries to apoligize to Lexie and Meredith after his rehab. Mike needs surgery as soon as possible. Owen is performing Mike his surgery. Bailey admits to Izzie that she called her mother Robbie. Richard says sorry to Meredith, for what happened with her in the past. Kate and Maddy will leave Mike. Izzie gets into surgery. Nice Episode of Grey's Anatomy Season 5, really great to see that Richard and Meredith made it up to each other. Let's get to the next Episode fast!

Callie

This new 'Callie is poor' just makes me mad. She is a senior resident orthopedic surgeon who would be making a six figure salary. There are a bunch of other outcomes associated with Callie becoming estranged from her family that the writers could have considered. This is a punch in the face for viewers who do struggle financially, and/or have a mountain of school debt that wasn't paid off by daddy.

Otherwise, the stories remain compelling, even years after they were first aired. Bailey is definitely the star of this season. Wading through the Izzie story is distracting given the complete lack of actual outcomes associated with an aggressive series of cancer treatments.
