So Many Contrivances

I keep telling myself, it's only a show. But at times it seems that there is so much stuff piled on so much stuff that it doesn't seem real. The perfect storm mentality if you will. A congressman is accused of murder. The problem for me is that he is a jerk, and while one would hope he isn't falsely accused, he has done things that are despicable. He even has a second apartment so he can fool around while his wife is upstairs--and she even is willing to overlook it. Ray becomes pivotal here, having to recognize and admit that he made a mistake prior to new evidence being found.

A Confused Case

While testifying in court about the evidences found in the murder of the prostitute Amber Jones apparently by the congressman Edward Griffin. Langston is forced to interrupt his statement since there is a shotgun. They find that Griffin's Chief of Staff Dominic Humphries has committed suicide in the hall with a Beretta that could be Amber's murder weapon. Further, there is a confession of her murder in his pocket. Now the CSI need to reopen the case and find new evidences until the next morning.

"Miscarriage of Justice" is an episode of "CSI" with a confused case. I have not understood why Dominic Humphries confessed a murder that he has not committed. The rest of the episode is interesting, with the CSIs' investigation. My vote is seven.

The amount of plot holes in this episode is staggering, even for this show. I found the whole thing totally unbelievable.
