A new type of genius for the show.

In response to the previous comment, I feel that this episode was one of the greatest presented. Vince always says 'it'll work out' all the time, and so when Drama presents the idea of 'shrooms, why not? It always works out, after all.

It also gave a real perspective on why recreational drug users are recreational drug users. Because life isn't always the sad overdose stories -more often they're, well, portrayed pretty similar to how the Entourage displayed tonight.

Again, with snappy comebacks and another Drama classic ("Just women and gays, Turtle), this episode is EASILY as good as anything produced since the Medellin episode.

The only problem with it, is it heightens the anticipation for next week's episode, which quite frankly, will not compare to this calibre.

Fun shoot

Having worked on this episode I had to watch it. I thought it was quite clever and witty with all the turns (pun intended). I believe it would have been more entertaining if they continued with my character throughout (as was the intent by both Julian Farino and Kevin Connelly). Still, this was quite a memorable one as in talking with Eric Robert's lovely wife, Eliza, after it aired they received many more accolades than is big-exposure role on Dark Knight which released at the time of this show's airing.

Entourage maintains wit. In an episode such as this, it even excels in creativity with a "feel" of realism of our own everyday lives being acted out by these wild/funny characters.

BTW, I am not on IMDb as all my acting has been either silent or overlooked by the folks that write up the IMDb credits. Pretty weird as I have had my name appear on TV shows credited both in front of and behind the camera.

GREAT COMRADERIE!

Having binged Entourage from season 1 to this point. My god, this episode REALLY STANDS OUT!

Throughout the series, we see the rapport between lifelong friends Vince Chase, E, Turtle, and Drama.

The authenticity of the character's friendship, (and no doubt between the real cast) is evident.

Makes me wish I had lifelong friends.

In any case, this episode stands out to me more than all the lavishishness of the Hollywood lifestyle.

Entourage is about friendship.

Such a great episode to a hilarious and fun ride of a series!!!!

Tree Trippers

Recently I watched all the seasons of Entourage and even thought i love every single episode, I never laughed so hard like i did on the Tree Trippers episode. So clever and so right on. Entourage is one of the greatest shows that ever aired on TV. Wish there were more shows like Entourage with such talented and perfectly cast actors.

Writers on shrooms
info-3607 October 2008
Warning: Spoilers
I love entourage, but this episode is absolutely ridiculous. To decide whether Vince is going to accept a role in a movie, the bunch decides to have shrooms in the desert and wait for a sign instead of... reading the script for example. Ari, the agent, having nothing else to do, joins the quest and gets lost in desertÂ… on shrooms. Most of the episode is watching all them lost walking in the dark trying to find each other. Vince gets his revelation all right by seeing himself as a fireman. Oh clever! My guess was the writers were on shrooms. They might find it funny. We don't.

I hope they didn't pass the point of no audience return. If not, they were pretty close this time.
