Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • Guns like the Browning M1919 cause enemies limbs and heads to blow off.
  • Probably the most intense and violent Call of Duty game. Loads of gore, dismemberment, decapitation, burning alive, torture, and more. The most violent scene is at the beginning when your squad mate is tortured and then murdered. Most Call off Duty games are good for 13+ or so, but this is 18+, and that is not even getting into the real world footage of torture and murder that took place.
  • Same with the campaign, the Zombies game mode also has a lot of blood and gore. Zombies' limbs will also fall off and they can still crawl around.
  • For this game being rated 15, it's one of the most violent Cods, on par with the black ops games
  • The goriest call of duty game, however blood and gore can be turned off.
  • Blood, gore and bad language can all be turned off through the settings.
  • Frequent strong bloody violence.
  • Some scenes of actual war footage are shown in cutscenes. This is not too graphic but it depicts war in a fairly brutal way. The feature can be turned off in the Options menu.
  • The game revolves around violence and war. The themes of war and death are extremely upsetting and brutal. It may place some players in discomfort.
  • When enemies are shot, blood spurts out in all directions.
  • Enemies can be stabbed with knives and bayonets. It is very bloody and shocking.
  • Enemies can be blown up with grenades and other military weaponary (rockets, RPG). This results in heads and limbs being blown off with gory injury detail.

Profanity

  • Although there is no swearing in Nazi Zombies, there is lots in the single-player campaign.
  • It's possible to turn off the language in the settings.
  • If you're playing online multiplayer and are on the Marine Raiders and win, the announcer will sometimes say "Out-fucking-standing"
  • Strong language.
  • Occasional uses of 'f**k', and other milder language.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Scenes of smoking.
  • Some characters are seen smoking, but it is not misused or glamorised. It is also just setting the time the game is set.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Many of your comrades will execute other soldiers as apart of the storyline.
  • By far the most brutal CoD game.
  • Some intense and scary moments in the Zombies game mode.
  • For a 15 rated game, this game is far more violent then any Morden warfare sequel or black ops games which are all 18 rated. Ww2 from 2017 is the only game to compete with the violence
  • Real images of war horror.
  • As mentioned, the game contains real war footage which may be disturbing to some players. However, the feature can be disabled.
  • The sustained theme of war is deeply portrayed in a horrific way. This may upset and/or scare players.
