I can't believe how this season keeps getting better. I can officially say this was the best episode of the first half of the season, at least in my opinion. They're going all out.
There were so many celebrity appearances, from John Cena, to Levar Burton. I loved the callback to the Lance Reddick interview, which was one of my favorites. The show hasn't forgotten it's roots, yet it keeps getting bigger and crazier.
I've been going pretty in depth with the reviews for each episode this season, but I can't anymore. It's gotten too weird and chaotic to even describe. It's truly something to behold. This episode did not stop and I felt exhausted in the best way after the episode ended. I literally had to rewatch the episode to really understand what just happened and it was still an experience like nothing else. I found different things to laugh at in the same scenes.
While I wouldn't call this one of the best episodes ever, it's a perfect example of what makes this show a pure concentrate of comedy gold. The chaos is unmatched. There's a point where there's like 3 different guests and 3 different hosts. There's a weird fixation with fishes for this episode. There's like 3 different layers of edits. The citizens and guests are literally in fear and probably getting scarred from the pranks too. It's insensitive and disgusting despite today's culture, and it keeps escalating to levels you wouldn't believe. Eric Andre has become unhinged. I fear for the people near him, but it's a beautiful sight to behold from afar.
