Alas no

I'm not surprised there are so many zero ratings for the film although nil for this is a little over the top. I simply love Jodie Sweetin in anything, you wouldn't think it possible to go wrong once you've signed up her beauty and talent. Whoever put this disaster together has a very special talent however, and I hope I don't come across any other product made by the same people. Admittedly once the array of repulsive characters began to inexplicably appear and the plunk plunk background music lazily intoned the intended inference that some sort of comedy as opposed to tragedy was intended, I started to skip forward in the hope that Jodie would be able to shine through. Alas no. Terrible film.

Just no

This was one of the worst movies I have ever watched. Not only is it that excessive over-the-top ridiculous covid reaction that makes a person want to throat punch these fools, But then you add the most heinous characters possible, and someone so delusional they would think this movie would actually work, and you have this steaming pile of absolute garbage. I definitely had lost cost fallacy that seen me to the end of this because I was ready to shut it off within the first 20 minutes. It is sad they set the bar so low for what is considered a movie. We all deserve better including each and every one of the "actors" in this movie. Again, just no, move on and spend the time learning a new skill, wash dishes, scrub a toilet, get a root canal, it would all be better than this movie.

Lockdown Romcom
vineetavats28 June 2023
It's pretty creative in terms of shooting around the lockdown and telling the story of a lockdown romance. Lockdown was a pretty bizarre time period, when even people who live nearby, ended up in what can only be described as long distance friendships and relationships. This captures that atmosphere well.

A bit campy and cheesy, yes, but there's something here that's quite heartwarming. Two characters growing together while in isolation. Old biases and hangups around dating challenged. An exploration of what matters more, what's on the inside or what's on the outside. Transactional relationships vs a real human connection.

just a soft dream in a tough world
shwanko719 April 2024
Am not sure why the low scores? I rated 7 even though think 5 or 6 are more accurate .. but just felt 3 is low rating .

Yes is really naively written , is like written by a teenager ! Who never had a relationship .. bcz no women will do what Vanessa done!

But I look at it as soft dream in a harsh world .. nothing bad about dreaming .. acting was not bad .. is not their fault story was so naive .

If u look to something romantic and light, this will fit well.. but don't expect deep story.

Covid was a great ingredient which was not fully well integrated to the story . There could be more drama . But writer wasted the opportunity.
