That was the funniest one yet, the gang have had a new character in thomas who seemed to be really funny then, he is ripped away from us, By getting himself Deported, lol. The funniest bit is when the gauntlet is thrown down by Thomas to have "The Fight" which turns out to be an eating contest between the Gangster Johhny White and the Legend that is Thomas, the weapon of choice a Hot chilli that makes the hard man Crap himself, What will the writers come up next. Legendary stuff they write at channel four, another mind shattering point is the dizzy aunty who thinks she is growing tea in her green house which turns out to be high grade Ganga, Cant wait for the next installment, Carry on the good work.

Episode 3 introduces us to Thomas a brand new character recently arrived in the UK from the Congo. He finds the weather pretty cold and struggles to understand the culture around him. He ends up meeting Effy and Pandora on a bus stop, with Pandora instantly taking a liking to him. The episode sort of revolves around everyone rallying around Thomas to help him raise some money and lots of drugs of course. Effy also has confirmation that her mother is having an affair and Emily seems to admit that she is gay which Effy overhears but doesn't seem bothered about. All in all a fairly good episode and a new character.
Talented actor , bad writer

Daniel Kaluuya is.a talented actor . No more , no less. But never let him write any scripts. Naive , full of stereotypes and definitely no talent for character evaluation or comedy. He co-wroted this episode and also co-wrote an episode in season two. (also one of the worst. It had stereotyped white and wanna-be rappers in it ) Does one really think that Pandora's aunt grows ''Tea'' in her greenhouse , not knowing that it turns out to be ''weed'' ?
Or why she has a collection of chainsaws ? In her livingroom ?
The ''idiot'' gangster with his two moron sidekicks who challenges Thomas for a chili-eating contest ? Really ? ..and craps his pants ?
UGH !
Otherwise this show tackles the problems of teenagers very well., despite such hilarious and stupid episodes like this one..

African Immigrant - Thomas

Thomas meets Effy and Pandora at the bus stop. Thomas is so innocent and naive as he recently immigrated from Congo, Africa.
He is overly friendly with neighbours, helps out the shopkeeper with theft, offers donuts to Pandora and Effy. He naively tried to blend in with construction workers thinking he will get paid by working. He goes to the interviewer at a school and answers the interview questions too personally. He is good at tasking and knows how to hand wash clothes.
At the school he cleans for as a janitor the bell rings and he sees Effy. He meets one of the twins and tells her the kids here don't care. He says she is much like her twin sister but perhaps prettier (I'm assuming he likes she is conservative).
He meets Pandora again who comes back to get her tail from the performance in the gym. Pandora brings him out and he says he likes the British greenery. Pandora brings him to her aunt's home which looks more like a manor but only her aunt lives there.
He is offered British tea and scones. He looks uncomfortable with the tea. Pandora tells him scones taste better when you drink tea first. The aunt directs him to the plants and Thomas bags up the weed. Pandora did not know it could be smoked.
The whole group helps out Thomas. They sell weed at an underground club. They climb down a manhole.
They give all the bills to Thomas and party at his place. Pandora calls for him and she is in her white bra and panties on the bed. She says she wants to have sex with him and kisses him. He kisses her again and then goes out when the door rings.
It is his mother and little brother and sister. Mom is shocked to see the partying scene - drugs, revealing clothing, nudity. Pandora comes out and announces she took off her bra. She covers both breasts with an arm and everyone looks at her.
Maman declares he is going back to Africa.
