This programme was part of the Back to the... series of documentary clip show and countdown shows, in a celebration of the four decades Channel 4 has been broadcasting, reminiscing its most memorable and iconic television shows. The third episode, presented by Davina McCall, celebrated the best TV shows, including drama, comedies, documentaries, children's TV, gameshows, music TV, chat shows, reality TV, sports, and lots more broadcast on Channel 4 during the noughties. This was a countdown of the 25 most popular shows, as voted by the viewing public. These 25 shows were: Brat Camp (2004-2005), The Autopsy (2002), Jamie's School Dinners (2005), Trigger Happy TV (2000-2003), The Boy Whose Skin Fell Off (2004), The IT Crowd (2006-2013), That Peter Kay Thing (2000) / Phoenix Nights (2001-2002), Derren Brown Plays Russian Roulette (2003) / The Heist (2006) / Apocalypse (2012), Skins (2007-2013), Faking It (2000-2006), Embarrassing Bodies (2007-2015), Supernanny (2004-2008), Shameless (2004-2013), Peep Show (2003-2015), Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares (2004-2014), Location Location Location (2000-present), Da Ali G Show (2000-2004), Deal or No Deal (2005-2016), Celebrity Big Brother (2001-2010), Wife Swap (2003-2009) / Celebrity Wife Swap (2003-2009), The Secret Millionaire (2006-2012), Come Dine with Me (2005-present) / Celebrity Come Dine with Me (2005-present), 8 Out of 10 Cats (2005-present) / 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (2012-present) The Inbetweeners (2008-2010), and number one was Big Brother (2000-2010).
