La quintaesencia del anquilosado sistema soviético
figueroafernando18 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The quintessence of the ossified Soviet system (they share a kitchen, and everything) still survives as a project in these terrifying Kommunalka on Sovetskaya Street, buildings of shared apartment homes for 500 rubles whose heating is more than doubled (1,200) by the most diverse characters , "characters", like this, to put it as pointed out by the most conspicuous inhabitant, a girl who is dedicated to the tube show and weighs 45 kilos; she sees herself as a character because, she says, it gives meaning to this documentary about Kommunalka with wasted lives like hers; another presents his 13-year-old brother Barbos as if he were his son and acknowledges that it is not biologically normal to live as if he were sharing everything; the student Mohhamed, in his 4th year of medicine, or how about Anna, who cannot return to Giorgia despite the fact that her homeland has become independent and has already lost her son there; Tania, nervous that she doesn't want to know about sex and just hopes there will be a response between everyone. Stark documentary with a dose of sadness and the common denominator of loneliness and hopelessness for the next day.
