The third and allegedly final chapter in the saga of unstoppable bayou killer Victor Crowley arrives on DVD and Blu-ray next month (check out our review of the film here), and Dark Sky Films has unveiled the full breakdown of features. The conclusion of a trilogy that began with Adam Green's 2006 cult splatter hit Hatchet, the third installment finds famed horror actor/stuntman Kane Hodder reprising his role as Crowley, with Danielle Harris returning as Marybeth – who thought she'd offed the monster in Hatchet II and is now hell-bent on finishing the job. The cast also includes Gremlins star Zach Galligan and Caroline Williams (shown below) of Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. Hatchet III marks the directorial debut of Bj McDonnell (who worked behind the camera on features like Jack Reacher and Killer Joe), shooting from a script by Green, who also served as producer. The Hatchet III DVD and Blu-ray...

“Airborne” is a Brit horror directed by Dominic Burns (“Cut”), whose main draw is probably the presence of “Star Wars” favourite Mark Hamill, making his first appearance in a film from these shores. With a script by TV comedy writer Paul Chronnell, the film also stars a host of semi recognisable Brit talent, including Andrew Shim (“This is England”), Julian Glover (“Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade”), Alan Ford (“Snatch”) and Billy Murray (“Rise of the Footsoldier”). Having recently played the British Independent Film Festival, the film arrives shortly on Region 2 DVD via Chelsea Films. Hamill provides the opening narration, though doesn’t actually make it into the air himself, playing a traffic controller trying to keep track of a flight which suddenly diverts from its planned course during a wintery storm. The passengers (made up of a motley mix of gangsters, soldiers, the inevitable sexed up couple, a priest...

How To Stop Being A Loser gets its release this coming Friday and you can read our generally pretty positive review right here.
As part of our coverage of Loser, I recently interviewed its director, Dominic Burns about the film, his development as a director and the exciting new projects he has in the pipeline. We also spoke to the film’s leading man, Simon Phillips, and you can read that interview here.
HeyUGuys: You acted for a few yeas before turning to directing, how did that progression come about?
Dominic Burns: I had always wanted to be an actor. Then we were setting up Cut [2010 horror film which Burns starred in and wrote] which was going to be the first ever single-take horror film. For it to work, the location was absolutely key and that changed at the last minute, which meant the guy scheduled to direct couldn’t any more. By that point I was...

Jean-Claude Van Damme and aliens. Two things you don't normally associate with one another (except for when he almost played the titular Predator back in 1987). However that's no longer the case as The Muscles From Brussels has agreed to star in an alien invasion film entitled UFO which will shoot in the UK. Writer/director Dominic Burns decided to send an e-mail to Van Damme's wife on the off-chance he would be interested in acting in his film and to his surprise the Belgian star agreed. He will play a retired military advisor brought back into action in the film which is to shoot in Derby, England. Burns' first flick was the horror-thriller Cut and he has two more on the way, How To Stop Being...

Vanguard will release the 2010 British horror-thriller Cut on DVD on Oct. 25 for the list price of $19.95.
Danielle Lloyd receives no second chances in Cut.
Touted by its makers as “the first horror film shot in one continuous shot,” Cut follows a group of friends who find themselves in a bit of trouble after returning from a cocktail party to a cottage deep in the English woods. Having brushed off the notion of urban legends as rubbish, the good-looking young adults slowly find themselves weaving through their very own horror story.
Written and directed by Alexander Williams and starring Zach Galligan (Gremlins), Simon Phillips (The Last Seven), Dominic Burns (Airborne) and British glamor gal Danielle Lloyd, Cut offers some gimmicky, claustrophobic thrills and an occasional laugh to lighten the tension, or so we’ve heard. With no edits and a hopefully well-thought-out script and design, it could be fun…

The new feature from Dominic Burns (Cut) is one part thriller and one part suicide cult, as the film's first poster beckons you to "come die with me." In the trailer for this feature, a plane at 20,000 is ever going down, down, down...And actors Mark Hamill, Craig Conway (Dog Soldiers), Simon Phillips (The Last Seven) and Julian Glover (Mirrors) welcome you aboard one terrifying flight. Have an early look at this United Kingdom shot film, which will have you asking the stewardess for more booze and valium, in just under two minutes (courtesy of Dread Central).
The synopsis for Airborne is here:
"As a snowstorm closes in, one final plane takes off. The plane reports to the ground that both pilots are dead, while the slowly dwindling number of passengers on the plane wish that they'd never left the ground" (Dread).
Release Date: 2012.
Director: Dominic Burns.
Writer: Paul Chronnell.

Movies over the years have become standard in the way that they’re filmed and it takes a movie like Cut to come along with a simple idea that changes that and tries something completely new. The basic premise of the movie is that rather than cutting between shots from one camera to another, like you’d seen in any feature film, it’s all taken in one, continuous, long 60 minute take. Sounds ambitious but Alexander Williams decided to take the task on directing a cast which included Zach Galligan, Michael Socha, Danielle Lloyd, Simon Phillips, River George, Dominic Burns, Eden Watson, Lauri Brewster, Nick Onsloe, Adam Dakin, Deborah Burns, Lewis Copson and Jack Lewis.

Jon and I have now been running HeyUGuys for around 16 months and throughout that time, we always try and have a benchmark of things as to when we’d have ‘made it’ in the movie industry! First came screenings, then a premiere, then getting our name on a poster. Well, the latter has now happened in the form of new British horror movie, Cut. Check it out, our name is on the poster!! Woop woop!
Cut is directed by Alexander Williams and stars Zach Galligan, Danielle Lloyd, Simon Phillips, Michael Socha, River George and Dominic Burns. The thing that makes this movie special is that the entire feature has been filmed in one take with one camera throughout.
My review of the movie will be online tomorrow so make sure you check back to view it.
Cut is released on DVD this coming Monday, 8th March and you can click the image below to enlarge.

Most commonly known amongst the public for his role as Billy in the legendary Gremlins movies, actor Zach Galligan has led an exciting and varied career both within and outside of our genre. On the eve of the premiere of his newest film, psycho horror/thriller Cut, Zach spoke with our own Gareth Jones about the film, its gimmick, and what he’ll be up to next.
DC: Can you give us an overview of the plot of Cut and your character’s involvement?
Zach : It’s basically about five people who are spending a weekend in a country estate and they simply come under attack by forces they don’t understand, for reasons they can’t comprehend; and...it’s just basically a "five people in a house in the middle of nowhere" scary horror thriller. I mean, we’ve seen this film before, but I don’t...

Zach Galligan might not be a name that you immediately recognise but if I tell you that he played a character Billy and that he had a sidekick (in a way) called Gizmo, you might get closer to the man that we interviewed about his new movie, Cut. Zach Galligan was the lead in Gremlins and Gremlins 2: The New Batch and today, he lands in the UK to promote his new movie, Cut which is directed by Alexander Williams. Cut is different to any other movie you’ll have seen as the entire movie is done in one long, continuous take. We’ve seen the movie and our review will be online here nearer the DVDs release date on 22nd February. You can pre-order the DVD here.
In this interview, we find out what Zach’s been up to since his days working alongside one of the most famous creatures of the 80s,...

Alexander Williams’ horror movie “Cut” stars Zach Galligan of “Gremlins” fame and it’s being sold as “the first single continuous shot suspense horror movie ever filmed”, if, you know, that’s something that gets your engines revving and whatnot. Honestly, that’s a nice little gimmick, but wouldn’t there be compromises that I would rather my horror movies not make? Anyways, check out a trailer for Zach’s “Cut” and decide for yourself. The film also co-stars former Miss England and lads magazine favorite Danielle Lloyd, so there’s that. Cut is a claustrophobic thrill ride, only relenting on its increasingly unbearable tension and heart stopping shocks, to inject a little humour to soften the blow and increase the fun! Because it takes place in one shot, the audience feel part of the film, they have to go through every step of the way with our characters; the...
