  Clark Kent : It was before Dinah pressed the button. I don't know. I got out before the blast, but not fast enough to save everyone else. Chloe... I've searched everywhere. There's no sign of Lois.

  Chloe Sullivan : [cries softly]  I saw someone tacking her photo on a missing-persons report. And I keep thinking that maybe, maybe I haven't...

  Clark Kent : Lost everyone.

  Chloe Sullivan : You were there today, Clark, weren't you? I really needed you. Why didn't you come to me?

  Clark Kent : I'm the reason Jimmy's dead. Oliver was right. I put humanity on a pedestal. It wasn't a Kryptonian beast that killed Jimmy. It was a human.

  Chloe Sullivan : I was standing right here, Clark. I know full well who killed Jimmy.

  Clark Kent : This place, Chloe... just get rid of it. Just walk away and don't look back.

  Chloe Sullivan : You don't get it, Clark. Jimmy is here. He's watching over me. He knew me so well, he knew this place would be perfect. Jimmy wanted to know that no matter where I was in this city, I could look up here and see this beacon... the Watchtower. And look - Dinah, Oliver, and Bart all disappeared. Maybe it's up to us to bring them back home.

  Clark Kent : Home? I don't have a home.

  Chloe Sullivan : I thought I did. Okay? But really, what I wanted to do was save you.

  Davis Bloome : Save me? There is nothing left to save!

• Clark Kent : I always tried to forget I was an alien. Or a creature. I've always tried to pretend I was human. I was raised to believe it was my Kryptonian part that was dangerous, Chloe, but I was wrong. It's my human side. It... it's the side that gets attached, the side that makes decisions based from emotions. That's my enemy. And Davis proved that to me.

  Chloe Sullivan : So, because of some psychopath, you're gonna cut the rest of us out of your life? Clark, human emotions is what made you the hero that you are today.

  Chloe Sullivan : What are you saying?

  Clark Kent : Clark Kent is dead. Goodbye, Chloe.

• Davis Bloome : We're actually gonna pull this off, aren't we? Find some place to slow down and build a life together.

  Chloe Sullivan : As long as we can keep the gods from hunting us.

• Chloe Sullivan : Hey. You must be Jimmy's little brother. Well, I think that this belongs to you.

  [gives him camera] 

  Chloe Sullivan : He would wanted you to have it.

  Jimmy's Brother : Thanks.

  Chloe Sullivan : Who knows. Maybe someday you'll follow in his footsteps.

• Chloe Sullivan : Clark said you'd bring us somewhere safe. What is this place?

  Jimmy Olsen : It's your wedding present. Well, it was. I was gonna give it to you after the reception, but...

  Chloe Sullivan : My wedding present?

  Jimmy Olsen : It needs some work. I know. But... so did we. I just... I saw us here, you know? Starting our life together. Taking something that the rest of the world had forgotten about and... making it ours.

  Chloe Sullivan : You can see all of Metropolis from here.

  Jimmy Olsen : From anywhere in the city, you can spot this place. I thought that no matter where you were, you could look up and... you could see our home. You could see me watching over you.

• Chloe Sullivan : That's the reason I went with Davis, to protect Clark. That's the only reason.

  Jimmy Olsen : It all makes sense now. But the way I see it, you are as much of a hero as he's ever been. What you have gone through. What you've risked.

  Chloe Sullivan : And what I've lost. I've lost so much. The only thing I really miss is you.

• Clark Kent : Hey, are you okay?

  Chloe Sullivan : I think so.

  Clark Kent : What happened here?

  Chloe Sullivan : Exactly what you wanted, Clark. I split him. I split him from the beast.

  Clark Kent : Where did he go?

  [Oliver can't say] 

  Clark Kent : [using his super-hearing]  I'll get him back here. But I still need you to detonate the explosives.

  Oliver Queen : Clark, you get him down that tunnel. We'll take care of the rest.

  Clark Kent : Can I trust you?

  Oliver Queen : Yes.

• Chloe Sullivan : What's going on?

  Bart Allen : Sorry about the tranq, beautiful. It, uh, kind of snuck up on you super fast.

  Chloe Sullivan : Where's Clark?

  [seeing Davis on the ground] 

  Chloe Sullivan : You found a way to kill him, didn't you? And Clark wouldn't go along with it.

  Black Canary : No. He wanted to play devil's advocate with the actual devil. Split the Kryptonian from the human.

  Chloe Sullivan : Black kryptonite.

  Oliver Queen : Only one glitch in his plan. The whole beast part.

  Bart Allen : Last time we checked, he couldn't control his thornier alter ego.

  Chloe Sullivan : No, but I can. As long as I stay with him, he doesn't change. Please don't do this to him.

  Davis Bloome : They have to. Chloe, it's not working anymore.
