UFC Hall of Famer Dan "The Beast" Severn made the most amount of appearances on the original incarnation of the show with 5 appearances however, once expanded into a wider net of shows, Dave Maresca and Steve Hanisch made the most appearances with over 20 each.
A guest once made a horrendous homophobic remark and Drew called him on it leading to a stand-off with said guest's agent. Drew was handed a demand of edit out the remark or face legal action. Drew left the comment in which in turn lost him multiple other guests that were lined up through the same agent.
The success of the show has led to Drew starting his own radio station, directing a feature length documentary on social anxiety and to his continued success as a writer of audio dramas and screenplays. He was also featured on BBC radio telling the story of how the show came to be.
The show was birthed in a therapy session where Drew's therapist suggested he should phone a member of his family each week for 30 minutes to help with his social anxiety issues. Drew decided however that that seemed like a recipe for disaster so he decided to start a podcast and talk to celebrities and people with interesting stories instead.
