Various continuity errors due to the editing, e.g. when Justin Joe Brown disappears in the next shot after shaking Derek's hand in the previous one or during his announcement for "Favorite Female singer" when his hand position keeps switching between shots.
In the skit in which Derek Savage is happy about the low ratings of the other award shows the papers he receives disappear during the shots. When his face is shown the papers lie right in front of him with white cover up but when the paper close up is shown the other papers disappear.
The singer "The Weeknd" was credited in the show as "Weekend", with the E. Abel Makkonen Tesfaye (his real name) removed the E from his pseudonym to avoid copyright issues with the Canadian pop-band "the Weekend".
The closing credits mention the song "Cool Cat is Cool" by Linda Hopkins. However this song was not played in the entire show.
On the list of nominations on the YouTube channel, Derek inexplicably refers to Avengers: Endgame as "Adventures: End Game"
One of the movie nominees mentioned for "Favorite All-Time Movie" was "Lord of the Rings". Based on the footage shown Savage meant the Peter Jackson trilogy however they were only released with their specific names "The Fellowship of the Ring", "The Two Towers" and "The Return of the King". Savage never specified which of the movies he meant.
During the entire show the shutter window that is behind the camera is visible on the background poster due to the sunlight.
The footage for Katy Perry is shown mirror-inverted.
During his announcements for the categories, especially "Favorite KICK-ASS MOVIES" it is visible that Derek Savage is looking down and up, clearly looking at his script before looking back at the camera.
The intro shows that the winners are selected by the viewers. However unlike the last years, where people were able to vote on the 420-awards-site, it wasn't put online this year. The intro from the previous events was reused.
When announcing the "KICK-ASS MOVIE"-nominee "Monster Hunter" he says "Monster Hunt".
Derek Savage mentioned that his goal was "as it was from the very beginning" to make the "420 Awards" the 4th largest award show in the world. However at the beginning he wanted it to make the 4th largest award show in Hollywood, not in the entire world.
