Superfan Gene (Theo Rossi) asks Kid (Kevin Hart) with a horrified reaction to seeing Kid destroying a fan named Will's professional and personal lives in the blink of an eye at a charity event because Will repeated Kid's explicit joke (a callback to a plane scene in Episode One). I too was disgusted by what Kid did. As a man, if Kid was offended by Will's joke on the plane, why not confront Will and address it privately in that moment? Man to man. Why bash him publicly for all of social media and his colleagues to see? Will is fired and his livelihood destroyed. Over a joke with a racial epithet in a Kid joke that he repeated?! That's justified?! To whom? The vindictive, self-righteous, psychotic writers of this episode apparently. We, our, America, is a Christian nation. Christianity is all about forgiveness, redemption and compassion. I wish the writers had the depth and maturity to go that route. If not for that ugly charity scene, this episode would have been a strong 8. Theo Rossi steals every scene with his incredible acting. He deserves an Emmy, Golden Globe, or SAG nomination. Wesley Snipes is and has always been a great actor, even his presence is great. Kevin Hart delivers his best performance in his hotel scene with Rossi. Tense, well-acted episode.
