"Stratos" follows the journey of a once-famous Greek actor named Stratos, who travels to New York in hopes of reconnecting with his estranged daughter and rebuilding his career. After years of living a lavish lifestyle, Stratos finds himself in dire straits and with nowhere to stay when he arrives in America. Despite his initial resistance, Stratos' daughter ultimately agrees to meet with him, but makes it clear that she doesn't want him staying with her.
Feeling lost and alone, Stratos wanders through the city and ends up reconnecting with an old friend, who gives him some advice on how to navigate the American entertainment industry. Stratos takes the advice to heart and lands a job on a low-budget film set, where he hopes to prove himself and earn some money.
However, Stratos quickly finds that the film set is not what he expected. The director, a young German woman, is difficult to work with and treats Stratos poorly. Despite this, Stratos sticks with the job, determined to prove himself and make a name for himself in America.
As Stratos works on the film set, he begins to realize that his daughter was right about him. He sees that his pride and self-contentedness have led him to where he is now, and he starts to understand what it takes to rebuild his life in a new country. Stratos begins to humble himself, putting in the hard work and effort required to succeed in the American entertainment industry.
Ultimately, Stratos' hard work pays off, and he is able to reconnect with his daughter in a meaningful way.
