By law there can be no oil in cars in a dismantling yard, what it looks like is syrup, as it is sticking to everything.
The oil plug is the large, easy to access nut at the bottom of the engine.
The flywheel keeps the engine balanced
The exhaust manifold collects cylinder exhaust and routes into the exhaust pipe in the back of the car
The oil or drip pan collects engine oil which keeps the parts lubricated and minimizes wear and tear
