Harshvardhan Rane and Sonia Rathee have extraordinary chemistry, the supporting cast and story line are robust. And the movie addresses several important aspects -- like, a LGBTQ love story in the parallel, overcoming childhood trauma and rebuilding life. Worth a watch.—Ridhima

- Bilal (Harshvardhan Rane) lives a carefree life in London, with his Matriarchal family. He is troubled by a childhood trauma and is averse to the idea of marriage.
There comes Tara (Sonia Rathee) after her one-day-old husband Karan leaves her stranded in London. Tara had met Karan via a matrimonial site and had insisted to her grandfather (Fareed Khan) that she wanted to marry the Kashmiri Karan, even though her family felt that Karan had no elders in his family that could provide any character reference. Tara had sold her family house and transferred all the money to Karan before getting married. Karan left Tara at a hotel (after paying for only one night), and it is incidentally the hotel which is owned by Bilal's mother Farzana (Mona Ambegaonkar). Bilal is a lawyer and has an office at the hotel. Farzana manages the hotel with her sisters Sonu (Aruna Soni) and Zoya.
Tara wakes up and finds Karan gone. His mobile phone is coming switched off. Bilal is sent to check if the guest in the room is still alive. Bilal asks Tara to leave after paying 400 pounds, but she refuses. Bilal puts Tara's luggage on the streets. Bilal's friend is Jiggy / Jignesh Patel (Pranay Manchanda).
Tara has to spend the night on the freezing streets of London as she has nowhere to go. The next day Tara finds an address given to her by Balli Uncle (Jassi Kapoor), of Gurmehar / Daisy Aunty (Niki Walia). Daisy takes Tara in, after realizing that Tara is fantastic with numbers and can help her run her Dhaba more efficiently. Tara tells Daisy about how she was robbed by Karan.
Turns out Daisy runs a Queer Gilassy Bar, with exotic dancers Ritz (Raheem Mir), and others. Bilal had come to the bar with Jiggy, who was in love with Ritz, and found Tara there. Even though Tara is horrified by what she sees, Daisy offers her a job as accountant at the bar. Tara is determined that she will leave, but Ritz convinces her that she should earn some money before she goes back to India.
Tara makes peace with herself and cleans up her office. Daisy offers her a salary of 1000 pounds per month. Tara is in UK on a 6 month tourist visa.
Since Bilal refuses to settle down, Farzana and her sisters bring a prospective match named Niamat (Shafali Chung), who had come with her father (Anil Christie) and mother (Qamar Gilani). Bilal is livid and kicks them out of the house. Farzana & her sisters leave the house and challenge Bilal to live on his own and manage the hotel. Farzana refuses to return home till Bilal agrees to marry and they leave for a trip to India.
Meanwhile Karan starts blackmailing Tara. He says that he will report her to the police, since she is working on a tourist visa, unless he is paid. Jiggy begs Tara for a meeting with Ritz and she arranges that by taking them both for coffee. This is where Tara meets Bilal again, who offers her 15,000 pounds to pretend to be his fiance. Tara is desperate and agrees. Meanwhile, Bilal's family returns and is super excited that Bilal has decided to marry Tara in 10 days.
Bilal uses Tara to break apart the sisters by suggesting that Zoya used her control of the property papers to introduce the name of her daughters Noor and Meher into the property that belongs to Bilal. Bilal tells Tara that his own father Imran (Shammi Aulakh) died when he was 13 years old. Bilal's plan is to use Tara to put so much poison between his mother and her sisters that they themselves say no to their wedding. Tara tells Farzana that she wants a written commitment on alimony, and a share of the property. Tara is horrified that Farzana is spending 35,000 pounds on the wedding.
The next time Karan harasses Tara, she calls Bilal, who saves Tara and beats up Karan. Jiggy reveals to Tara that Imran had committed suicide at a train station as the business was not doing well. Bilal had witnessed his own father stepping in front of the train, by coincidence. Since then, Farzana became Bilal's shield and never exposed him to the real world.
Bilal gets Tara to say cuss words in front of the family and they even kiss to scandalize them. Bilal's family had never been OK with public displays of affection, and he wanted to use every trick in the book to turn them against Tara. Unknowingly both Tara and Bilal like the kiss and they fall in love with each other. Bilal continues the charade and tells Farzana that technically Tara is already married and that her husband is harassing her for 10,000 Pounds. They dress up Ritz as Karan, who comes to meet Bilal's family. He demands 10,000 Pounds to release Tara from the marriage. But as Bilal goes to get the money, Ritz charms the entire family with his sense of fashion and humor.
Daisy finds out that Jiggy and Ritz are in love and encourages them to get married. Daisy tells Jiggy that she wants to meet his parents.
Tara tries to connect with Bilal and says that his father committed suicide because he didn't have anyone to discuss his problems with. Bilal is livid and says that Tara is also hiding her truth from her grandfather as if earning some money will lessen the shock of being betrayed by Karan. Tara was astounded that the family loved her despite all her flaws and her baggage and antics.
Tara gets married to Bilal and as per plan she is supposed to vanish the following morning. But Tara didn't know that Bilal now loved her and was heartbroken to see that Tara still was doing all this only for money.
The next morning, after Tara is gone, Bilal admits to his family that he hired Tara to get the family off his back. Bilal admits that he is the only guy in the family who didn't leave the women of the house due to the pressure of responsibilities. Bilal says that he feels the weight of this responsibility and wants to stay with his family. Bilal says that he will never leave his family, and that is why he tells all these lies, so he can also live his life his own way. Farzana knows that Bilal loves Tara. Jiggy tells Bilal and Farzana that Tara is leaving for India.
The whole family travels to the airport to stop Tara, while Bilal heads to the bar. Tara was at the bar, saying goodbye to Daisy and Ritz. Ritz tells Tara that Bilal sold his beloved bike to pay Tara, while Tara gives the money to Daisy to return to Bilal. Bilal finds Tara sitting at a bench, waiting for the bus. Bilal declares his love to Tara and she accepts.
