  Luke Skywalker : It's more like he's remembering than I'm actually teaching him anything.

  Ahsoka Tano : Sometimes the student guides the master.

  Ahsoka Tano : As I told you. The two share a strong bond, and he brought him a gift.

• Luke Skywalker : It's time to continue your training. Let's see you jump.

  [Grogu gives a feeble attempt, barely managing to clear the ground] 

  Luke Skywalker : Really? That's all you got? Bend down, jump, and as you do, feel the Force flow through you.

  [Grogu gives another feeble attempt] 

  Luke Skywalker : You're trying too hard. Don't try. Do.

• Luke Skywalker : [showing Grogu a beskar chainmail vest]  The Mandalorian wanted you to have this. But before you take it, I will give you a choice. This... is a lightsaber.

  [activating it] 

  Luke Skywalker : It belonged to my teacher, Master Yoda. And now, I'm offering it to you. But you may choose only one. If you choose the armor, you'll return to your friend, the Mandalorian. However, you will be giving in to attachment to those that you love and forsaking the way of the Jedi. But if you choose the lightsaber, you will be the first student in my academy, and I will train you to be a great Jedi. It will take you many years to master the ways of the Force, and may never see the Mandalorian again because, Grogu, a short time for you is a lifetime for someone else. Which do you choose?

• Luke Skywalker : This is a training remote. It will test your reflexes.

  [as he sets it down, Grogu plays with it and then rolls it back to him] 

  Luke Skywalker : No, that isn't how it works.

  [putting it back] 

  Luke Skywalker : This is how it works.

  [as he uses the Force to activate it, it rises into the air and fires a blaster bolt, knocking Grogu backward] 

  Luke Skywalker : Get back up. Always get back up.

  [as Grogu gets to his feet, the remote fires another bolt, which he manages to dodge] 

  Luke Skywalker : Very good.

• Luke Skywalker : The galaxy is a dangerous place, Grogu. I will teach you to protect yourself.

• Luke Skywalker : I want to tell you about someone you remind me of a great deal. His name was Yoda. He was small like you, but his heart was huge, and the Force was strong in him. He once said to me, "Size matters not." That's how he talked. He would speak in riddles. Have you ever heard anyone talk like that back home? Do you remember back home?

  [kneeling down] 

  Luke Skywalker : Would you like to remember?

  [gently putting a hand on Grogu's head] 

  Luke Skywalker : Let me help you remember.
