Sex & Nudity

  • A woman is seen skinny dipping from a distance, her breasts are barely visible.
  • Teens kiss and make brief discussions about sex. Lots of sexual humor and innuendo. Nothing too graphic.

Violence & Gore

  • On a camera-recorded video, a woman is hit in the head with a pole. It's very dark, so no wounds are visible here, but then we encounter a young man falling to the ground, with his head bashed in and we see his face bloodied as he lays down on the floor motionless.
  • A man is seen with a saw blade on his neck and then confronting a group of teenagers. He then rubs the saw blade into the back of his neck, with some blood streaming and pouring out of this cuts before he throws the saw blade to one of the teenager's faces, horrifying a girl while we see blood pouring out of the wound of the saw blade graphically lodged on the boy's face as he collapses dead.
  • Then, the girl who witnesses the boy killed with the saw blade lodged on his face gets a machete stabbed on her throat, with a lot of blood pouring down and killing her, as there's also blood on the tip of the machete.
  • In another scene, a teenage boy gets seemingly chased by Tucker, who's wielding a chainsaw. Tucker is shown swinging the chainsaw around in a fashion reminiscent to Leatherface from the popular slasher horror film "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and then appears to charge and run towards the boy. We then cut to the boy running away in fear as it's revealed that Tucker is actually NOT chasing the boy and as a result, the boy is subsequently impaled into a tree branch due to him not seeing what's in front of him, with blood spurting out and we see blood on the tree branch as well as his chest and mouth, with his shirt also stained with blood and the boy dies from this offscreen.
  • In other shot, a boy is shown charging with a wooden spear with the attempt to kill a man, Dale, who hits a girl in the head with his shovel accidentally, knocking her with Dale falling to the ground next to her, after the girl alerts him about the boy, who's startled and then trips, causing his spear to lodge itself on the background and the boy falls into his own spear, impaling him, with blood splattering over the area. We see the boy scream in agony as he slides down and then, some blood is shown coming out from his mouth.
  • In other scene, a boy tries to kill Tucker by shoving him into a wood-chipper, but Tucker dodges this boy when he's about to chip some wood he has cut down with the chainsaw, and as a result the boy is brutally sucked into the wood-chipper, where he's gorily chewed up. We then see the boy scream as he is getting shredded into a bloody mess, with the upper half of his body being completely obliterated by the wood-chipper blades and we see massive amounts of blood spewing out from the end of the wood-chipper, and all this blood covers a girl, causing her to scream in horror. In the aftermath, when Tucker tries to unsuccessfully save the boy by trying to pull out his body from the wood-chipper, we see the extremely graphic and bloody results, as we see Tucker covered in blood, alongside the mouth of the wood-chipper, which is all covered in a lot of blood and gore. This scene is extremely bloody and gross, and it's the most graphic scene in the entire film, but this scene is also very comically over-the-top and silly and is mostly played for laughs.
  • In a scene, a police officer tries to hold onto a wooden support of the two main characters' cabin, but the man trips and causes the wooden lodge to fall, making a slab of wood with nails go through his head and stab his face with fatal results. We see some blood here, and the man then flips backwards and slumps to the ground, were he walks for a few meters to his police car before dying.
  • In other scene, a boy tries to shoot Tucker and Dale, our two main characters. We see the two getting held at gunpoint by the boy, who tries to see how to shoot the gun and he accidentally pulls the trigger, causing him to shoot himself in the head with blood splattering on the windshield of a police car as the dead boy falls down.
  • In one of the film's most brutal scenes, a boy attempts to kill Tucker by using a weed whacker. Tucker avoids this, but the blades of the weed whacker ends up obliterating a girl's face completely, with very graphic results including lots of blood spraying everywhere and covering another girl, Allison, in blood as she screams in horror.
  • Shortly after this, a boy named Chad, who is the film's main villain, throws a lantern and inadvertently sets a friend of his on fire, where Allison tries to help but she only worsens the situation since she throws alcohol at the burning boy, who screams in severe pain before dying from his burns.
  • The boy who was burned alive in the cabin sets a fire trail and it ignites flammable material, causing an explosion in the cabin that kills a girl who smokes a cigarette in her last moments and severely disfigures Chad, who goes on to try to claim his revenge later on.
  • Severe in gore levels, but moderated by slapstick, if not cartoonish, context.

Profanity

  • 32 uses of "fuck", and several uses of "shit" and "bitch".

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A female character is shown smoking.
  • One character is shown pouring beer on his wounds in two separate scenes, likely either to ease the pain or as a disinfectant.
  • Hospital patient is a little woozy on anesthetic and pain meds.
  • Teens drink beer and smoke pot while on their "vacation," though this isn't depicted as regular behavior. They also drink while driving. The hillbilly protagonists also drink beer, although not to excess.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Despite the film being a horror comedy, the violent content is very graphic and the deaths can be intense and disturbing for some viewers.
  • A dog is threatened with a gun which may be difficult for some viewers.
