This episode is indeed about 4½ minutes shorter than, for example, the following one, but I there is a valid reason IMDb reviews have to be at least 10 lines: Anything less is likely to just be non-useful to other users. That's why the site asks users, "Was the above review useful to you?"
But I digress. It's odd that an episode uses numerous semi-regular characters *and* three celebrities playing themselves and still runs so short. The problem is that a golf tournament is not enough to form the basis of an Entourage episode. Sure, if this was a movie or a stand-alone program *about* a golf tournament, the makers would be able to give us any amount of time from 22 minutes to 2 hours of solid content, but here, there is, ironically, not enough time for any other major plot line - something which the following episode proves. Here the only major plot development comes right at the end. The golf eats too much time and as a whole, this episode feels more like an average national network sitcom episode with generic jokes (albeit with lots more swearing) than a caringly crafted, hilarious Entourage episode. Still, at 7/10 this sure beats those 5/10 sitcoms.
