Powerpuff Women? HIM the Hidden Helper
MuzikDude28 March 2024
Despite HIM being a strong reference to the Christian-Judaic devil, in PPG HIM typically serves to facilitate the girls' interpersonal and emotional development. Particularly in this episode, the girls learn how to handle grown boys. Visual euphemisms aside, the situation the girls face in this episode is a real experience that girls may encounter as they switch from playing with young boys to older boys. Boys who like girls will only be encouraged by more and more attention from girls, which may be frustrating to a young girl who doesn't quite know how to handle matured boys. While I don't personally advocate the social tactics that the girls eventually develop to defeat the Rowdy Ruff Boys, their new skills express the girls' character growth, which is what HIM brings to the table most compared to the rest of the PPG's archenemies.

The actual plot involves some of the PPG's most brutal fight scenes which I suppose that it drives the point home of them becoming more mature, but the entertainment value suffers.

The Rowdyruff Boys come back from the Dead.
milesrob-17260110 June 2022
This was an unexpcted but fun Powerpuff girls episode HIM the devil brings the Rowdyruff boys back to life after the girls destroyed them with their kisses. And they kisses make them grow bigger and stronger and they had new hairstyles too. Brick, Boomer and Butch. But in the Ending their New Weakness is shrinking.

Wish they had more Rowdyruff Boys and Powerpuff girls Episodes when the show was still on Cartoon Network. Good one!
