It's a pleasant and unexceptional variety short from Warner Brothers' Vitaphone unit: acrobats, a sister act who sings about their days as child movie actors -- two decades earlier -- and dance, a group who sing "Nagasaki", and an acrobatic monkey act to end it all.
The Vitaphone unit had been conceived as replacing the live acts that the biggest mobie palaces could afford. While the practice of using live entertainment between shows did not end completely, shorts like this did a good deal to replace them, and to make the same sort of fill-in available to maller houses.
