To be honest, we don't cover enough Hallmark around here. But when the opportunity arose to interview award winning playwright and screenwriter Gary Goldstein who, unbeknownst to me at the time, has written some of my favorite Hallmark Channel movies, I jumped.
If you long for the days of romantic comedies, there is no better place to find them than on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies and Mysteries. There's a great one airing tonight on Hallmark Channel titled "Summer in the City."
Written by the talented Goldstein, it stars Julianna Guill, Marc Bendavid, Vivica A. Fox and Marla Sokoloff. The premise is when a small town woman with Midwestern charm, is given a big promotion managing a store in the Big Apple, she tries to adopt a big city personality and it leads to disastrous results.
Realizing it’s better to be true to herself, she lets her personality shine...

Sir Roger Moore, best known for his iconic role as James Bond, is to make his first on-screen feature film appearance in nearly 10 years in Causeway Pictures' romantic comedy 'Connemara Days' which will film this summer in Cong, Co. Mayo and Northern Ireland. 'Connemara Days' is a love story situated on the set of the celebrated film 'The Quiet Man'. to Mark the 60th anniversary of the filming of 'The Quiet Man' in Galway, the movie will be produced by Belfast based Causeway Pictures and directed by Kevin Connor (Marco Polo, The Wish List, Black Beard). Other cast currently in discussions to star include Ifta winners Aidan Quinn (The Eclipse) and Sarah Bolger (The Tudors), Thomas Dekker (Sarah Connor Chronicles), Geraldine Chaplin (The Wolfman) and Stacy Keach (Escape from La, American History X) as the renowned film director John Ford.
