Early in this episode, DS Jones has the wing mirror on his car smashed by another car. However, when he drives to the travellers' camp a short time later, the wing mirror can be seen undamaged.
When Adam Burbage lassoes Jack Fincher, we see that the rope settles around his waist. But in the next shot the rope is suddenly around his ankles, and Burbage has had no opportunity to make the change.
When Tom Barnaby comes out for the shoot-out with Adam Burbage, Barnaby walks down the steps twice.
In the final 'shootout' Jones finds a Colt SAA 'Peacemaker' loaded with a 9mm/ .38 blank. He takes out the blank and replaces it with a 44-40 WCF LIVE round. You can't put a 44-40 live round into a gun chambered for 9mm. Also, in the UK, the guns used in Old West re-enactment are blank firers chambered for 9mm/ .38 and cannot fire a live round due to the barrel being fully or partially blocked.
The piece of land contested by Burbage and Fincher is supposedly worthless swamp. But when we see the place, there is no sign of swampy land. All we can see is a dry, open field.
At the 57 minute mark, Barnaby goes into the optometrist shop. As the door closes behind him, you can see the camera and cameraman reflected in the glass of the door.
